I was playing a goblin and was reincarnated (randomly) as a dwarf. Another player dubbed me a Dwoblin.

An idea I had years ago, and I was neither the first nor last to "invent" this, was the... Dwelf. :D

I played an elf/orc cross once.... Gotta love a big green guy buffed out like a UFC heavyweight walking around in a big floppy hat doing backflips and decapitating people with his rapier...:D

On the short-people front, I once made up a half-halfling race, halfling and pixie - think the Gelflings from Dark Crystal...

I knew a girl who played a half-succubus, half-nymph... (Yay, powergaming chicks with major issues, lol)

half-dragon has always been my favorite. doesn't really matter how much strength you pump into it, you can go "hey, the dragon side of him is what gives him so much strength" and end up with a character that's as slim as your normal everyday slim guy, while still actually making sense

strangely, I think this idea originally came from DBZ or some similar show. Yay, scrawny people who can lift planet size objects FTW!

Half-angel. Think Genesis or Sephiroth, but with less psychotic-homicidal-kill-the-planet-insane.

Isn't Generic Elven Dual-Class Ranger half-elf, a quarter-human and a quarter-half-orc? Unnecessary complications!

My best half-breed idea? Half me an' half Jessica Biel.

Can't get better than half & half; if it worked for The Dude, it'll work for me...

On another note, take a human base and create a template based on a fly. Or, Brundelfly, if you will...

Kender/Minotaur.

Try not to think about conception, just revel in the thought of a tiny, angry bull man with a Kender's propensity for smack talking.

Dork. half-dwarf, half-orc.

make him a werewolf and you have a Furry Dork. make him a vampire and you have a Goth Dork. have him be an artificer/self-forged and you have a Techno Dork.

the possibilities are endless!

Isn't a "dork" a significant part of a whale? I think it's nomenclature for something...

Dork. half-dwarf, half-orc.

I like that one, actually.

Other half-breed ideas I've liked.

Half-elf. The other half is also elf.

Half-Drow, Half-Centaur. Don't think about that one too hard...

Half-kobold, half-gnome

gnobold. Short, scaly creatures with a hint of draconic heritage in their blood. Born of a kobold father and gnome mother, the gnobold is considered an abomination by both races. They favor mass strikes by overwhelming numbers, pulling foes into an endless number of clockwork traps, with each trap more convoluted and more advanced than the first.

Except cats, dogs, and bears share a common (if ancient) ancestor. Gnomes are sapient in origin while kobold are draconic in origin. It would be like the bastard child of a chimp and a monitor lizard.

Why's it gotta be a bastard? You opposed to a chimp and monitor lizard gettin' married or somethin'? Redneck.

Kolling. Half kobold, half halfling. Hilarity ensues!

a human/halfling hybrid gives us the three-quarterling.

a modron/octopus gives us an octogonopus.

MUNCHWOK

The munchwork. Half ewok, half munchkin. Are they a nightmare or a dream? Are they tormenting demonic imps, or saving angelic cherubs? Do they bring delightful earthy dances, cheerful songs, and clever woodland devices, or only a hallucinogenic, lynchian bad trip that leads down the yellow stained road to the fuzzy green anti-Oz?

Not my idea, but I remember someone wanted to Stat up a child that was like...Half-Halfling/Half-Orc or some such? And the DM suggested they use the Stats for a Dire Rat? It's in someone's Sig around here. HILARIOUS. XD

In one of my games, one of my characters (a Halfling Sorcerer) shagged a Gynosphinx. So I created an offspring using the tauric template to make a half-Halfling half-Gynosohinx. It was pretty fun.
