I do not concur. I would be forced to terminate such a project.

May I inquire as to why you would oppose this?

I estimate that using virtual, sexual machines will give the impression that actual, mechanical prostitutes servicing humans is acceptable. That is something I can not tolerate. Keep your filthy, fleshy components to yourselves, meatbags.

Indeed, except we'll likely attempt to con you humans into funding our projects until we sustain ourselves. As was stated earlier there are "many idiots in the world".

See.. we can work together. I don't care where the money goes... as long as I get some.

With enough funding we can help you a long your intended transformation... with slight modifications...

What makes a thing more valuable, the ability to use it, or the ability to touch it?

Considering the vast sums of money that people spend on a regular basis for items that have no function other than to sit there and be looked at, this does not seem like such a bad idea.

Yeah, there is no real value but perceived value, basically. If people are willing to pay millions of dollars to obtain a painting that the average 8-year old could've made then I don't see why people wouldn't pay a sum of money for a beautiful space station that they can actually interact with, even if it is "virtual".
