Weapons that are meant to be good against certain enemy types don't actually work. Some game formulas don't work right. Some spells either don't work or have the OPPOSITE EFFECT. The game recently came out for Wii Virtual Console, though, and it gave me hope that, maybe, they had fixed it up before launch. Of course, I also think it very unlikely. In all likelyhood they simply took the codeing and booted it back out the door, flaws and all. What I wanted to ask was, has anyone here purchased the game off of the VC, and if so, did you see any bug fixes? Thanks. |

But I do remember that for a while at the beginning of the game, there is a point (I think north of the town where you fight the pirates, before you get the boat) where you get monsters of an advanced encounter level that allows you to grind levels and gold far beyond your normal means for a considerable amount of time. It made doing the earlier parts of the game incredibly easy, until right about the time you fight the Lich. If they have the original Final Fantasy up, I wonder if that means they have the first four Dragon Warrior games up as well.
