Still not working.

Either way judging from the URL, meth lab in a golf course? Interesting.

That's wierd.  Er, unless you consider the fact that I'm trying to link Yahoo.  Oh, and there's that whole Onesite thing, too.

A meth lab in a porta-crapper? They're moving up in the world.
And speaking of golf, did you hear that the IOC got rid of wrestling so they could keep golf as an Olympic "sport"?!

What!?
Wrestling is out and golf is in, in the Olympics?!

You gotta be me!

I thought you were lying because you're generally a lying liar that lies, but unfortunately, you were saying the truth.

Wish I was, bro. Starting in 2020, one of the oldest sports known to man will be pushed out of the Olympics for the likes of golf & taekwondo.

Personally, I think that wrestling, boxing, equestrian events, track & field, and archery should ALWAYS be part of the Olympics. They're part of the original Olympics.

I think any sports that are derived from the historic Olympics should stay, like caber toss and biathalon. Smile

Biathlon's a winter sport, yo. And was the caber toss ever part of the Olympics, or is that strictly a Highland Games thing?

Oh yeah, they are OG Olympic sports.  Also like axe throwing, log rolling and stuff with chainsaws.

I like taekwondo. I have no idea why they are putting golf in there though. Who is going to stay up to watcha boring game half way around the world anyways? Tey should get rid of basketball, soccer, and baseball. Or maybe these five sports should be taken out.

I agree with if them except equestrian. And I'd still get rid of about half of those; the only ones they should keep should be the steeplechase-type events. There's no reason for an event that consists of nothing but judging what a horse looks like when it walks.
But, yeah; drop the other four, and put in wrestling, baseball & softball, and beach volleyball.

Baseball and softball? No, just get rid of those. They are boring as hell to watch.

Right? Those "sports" should die. They suck.

Grehn, you must be in Hollywood, if you enjoy acting that much.
I notice nobody complained about the beach volleyball, though.

We used to play a pretty kool golf game back in the day, we called it Urban Golf, basically we just wandered around at night with a golf club and hit things, loads of fun, the funnerest time we has was when we came across this frog.

Yup on both counts.  Olympic TKD matches are insane.  Too bad they never put them on at a decent hour.  Wrestling should absolutely always have a place in the Olympics, too.  Golf is so terrible it doesn't even deserve a place on TV - let alone the Olympic games.  Stoopid decision is stoopid.

I read a Wetzel column about it.  Seems he believes there's rampant corruption at the IOC and that odds are some wheels were greased to get golf in.

Well, let's put it in simple terms: the head of the Modern Pentathlon governing body (which everyone figured would be the one dropped) is the son of a former Olympics commissioner AND sits on the IOC board. Nothing hinky going on at all there.

The way Wetzel described it was also pretty interesting.  In his hypothetical, peeps reppin' the golf would take IOC reps to some of the premier courses in the nicest locations while the wrestler peeps could take them ... to like a really good match at some high school somewhere.  And then the golf could also promise to put a course in place in whatever country the IOC happened to be into at the time.  Wrestling, basically, has nothing to offer in the way of a bribe and no money, either.
