For this thread, most people will likely throw bricks at me, ock me, ignore me, or start some sort of flamewar with me, but I have made it. This thread is for fans of the show The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack on Cartoon Network (CN) to talk about the show and their favorite episodes, characters, etc. If you dislike Flapjack, please, move along. This is for fans of Flapjack (as few as there likely are on this forum), and if you hate Flapjack, please start a different thread and do not post here.

If you don't know what the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack is, I will direct your attention here.

*throws brick*

I don't think it's a great show, but I do like the claymation that they do every once in a while.

It's more entertaining at times than some of their other shows.

Yes, the claymation (and the animation overall) is of great quality, compared to many other cartoons.

It's an interesting show with a unique sense of humor, impelling characters, a good setting, and is well written. Flapjack was the first show on CN that I laughed at since Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Doctor Barber makes me laugh.

Doctor Barber scares me. And makes me laugh at the same time. He's... evil... he was especially creepy in the episode 'Fish Heads' and especially hilarious in 'My Guardian Angel is Killing Me'. I mean come on!

Doctor Barber: Hypnotise... Hybnotise... Hypnotise...:D

In fact, you can see that scene here.

I just like his speech patterns.

Hmmm, yes?

Yes... the way he talks is interesting. Apparently he writes that way to, as according to the note above his sink:

Remember to wash the fingers hmm... yes.

Personally, it is my favorite show on the channel. But, the show can go both ways: some episodes are just weird, others are simply hilarious. Plus, not everyone is into 'stupid humor'. I think a lot of people see the weird episodes and get scared away...

My top episodes (with numer 1 being my fav.) are:
3. How the West was Fun
2: Gone Wishin'
1: Diamonds in the Stuff (Down the Drain)

The show is what Spongebob would look like if the animator, writer, and voice actors all mixed several different drugs, stuck the drug mixture in 140% proof alchohol, and downed the whole thing.

I don't think so... I -think- this was one of the guys on an earlier thread about CN who stated they disliked Flapjack.

If you post on the forum, expect anyone to walk in. I don't like to flame, but you realy shouldn't have expected no one to post objections against the show.

edit: and KGM is just throwing a hissy because I didn't answer a question a while ago :P

And here is the thread. I said:

No one watches Cartoon Network for the reality shows.

To be honest, I watch it for The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack:D

And he said:

Cartoon network sticks the poorest shows they can on there for the Germans then?:P

I like that episode with the Mermaid Heart. That one was awesome. Funny, Emotional, Poetic?...

Also the episode about Flapjack's Diary. I got my older brother to laugh at that one when Flapjack says "Yup... bein' a hermit..." Cracks me up.

Yep, I like the mermaid heart one (Gone Wishin') as well. Flapjack's diary is also good, and it's surprising how fast Flapjack grows a beard lol.

The monkey is hilarious too.

Bubby is adorable.

It could be worse. I'm not suggesting banning the show, there's been worse cartoons (ren and stimpy for one), but it's not something I would let my younger brothers watch.

They would prefer Resident Evil or Friday the 13th anyway :D

Well, I'm glad there are atleast SOME other people here who like Flapjack. Sometimes, when I say I like Flapjack and no one else does, I just feel 'like a hermit'.

Without Bubby, the show just wouldn't be the same. Her arguements with Captain K'nuckles are hilarious (especially due to the fact she always beats the crap out of him), especially in 'No Syrup for Old Flapjacks' when he has to 'sail' home on own. "CAPTAIN K'NUCKLES IS CAPTAIN OF YOU!.... dumb whale..."

Speaking of the good captain, K'nuckles is, needless to say, my favorite character (other than Flapjack, of course... wait, I like them both the same :D).

Wrong. I actually very nearly killed the PCs with one of these and a Were-Rat Kobold partner of his in the last game I ran. Man were they surprised when the li'l buggers put some major hurt on 'em. Classic. :D

On topic: No comment. Not that I have anything bad to say (though it's likely I would), I've just never seen the show in question. So I can't say nuthin' 'bout it. Carry on. :P

My group knows I like to make characters with one of two things: Psionics and Kobolds. I'm tempted to make an all kobold party of all psionic characters.
