2009 isn't getting a full series, it's getting 3, in effect, TV-Movies instead.

I think the creepy little girl is "Cal" - the library computer. she has "saved" anyone who tried to escape in the teleport, by storing their bodies in the "flesh bank" and their minds in her computer (remember, the galaxy's biggest hard-drive ever) She has gone mad, hence visualising herself being a little girl

River Song is a future companion (fairly obvious) - however, from her knowledge & experience, i think there is something more to her. also, note she has the same sonic gun as captain jack & is from the same century. Wonder if she is a time-agent too?
