| #2Robin_HoodlumNov 28, 2012 10:53:20 | Heh... He's cute. |
| #3jetshieldNov 28, 2012 10:57:26 | Dude. Who did the wiring job on that house? I'm guessing they didn't get permits. That's just wrong on so many levels. How does it feel to live in a deathtrap? The owl's a cute little bugger, but his perch needs to go. |
| #4Cpt_MichaNov 28, 2012 10:58:18 | If anyone's wondering about the wire he's on, it's part of a lighting project we're working on to spot light the crystal door. The wires are not live either. They are completely safe Jet ![]() He doesn't seem very old (he's fairly small yet), so I'm not sure if this is his home or not yet or if he's just passing through. I'll probably find out tomorrow if he's around again. |
| #5KillerGMNov 28, 2012 11:00:45 | Awww <3 nature |
| #6jetshieldNov 28, 2012 11:00:53 | ![]() Okay, an ongoing project is an acceptable excuse. We'll pretend that's the real reason. ![]() |
| #7Cpt_MichaNov 28, 2012 11:06:54 | ![]() It's the only reason they are out at all actually. (there were not any wires anywhere near the door when we put the door in.) We had to modify the frame of the house to get the door in anyway (which the frame of the house around the door is ludicrously reinforced now. Overkill, there is no kill like it!), after we saw the door in daylight for the first time, we decided it needed spot lights for night time use. So we took it back down and routed the wire. Royal Pain to get the wires routed fully as we put the door in even with the guide tracks we cut in to fish the wire through. EDIT The owl is still up there, so at the very least he's resting here for the day I think. |
| #8zombie_babiesNov 28, 2012 11:44:24 | That's pretty sweet. Er, the owl, not the wiring. ![]() |
| #9ADHadhNov 28, 2012 15:25:00 | Aww, you have a cute familiar. |
| #10Mad_JackNov 28, 2012 19:40:21 | I had a couple of swans spend the weekend in my pool one time... |
| #11Cpt_MichaNov 28, 2012 22:05:10 | Aww, you have a cute familiar. Does D&D even have those anymore? ![]() |
| #12calronmoonflowerNov 29, 2012 0:07:32 | We have an owl now apparently. Is that a screech owl? |
| #13melloredNov 29, 2012 0:08:58 | mail from hogwarts? |
| #14Cpt_MichaNov 29, 2012 0:59:15 | We have an owl now apparently. I'm not sure actually. it was gone by the time I got home from work. |
| #15ADHadhNov 29, 2012 3:44:43 | Aww, you have a cute familiar. In 4e they were added in a later book (Arcane Power I believe). One Dragon magazine had a flying skull familiar. As for D&D Next, I haven't even skimmed last two playtests. |
| #16The_SilverswordNov 30, 2012 0:40:30 | Aww, you have a cute familiar. Yes 5e has familiars, but its not class based like it should be, theyre under backgrounds, or specialties or whatever. So now fighters can have familiars too if they pick the right background or whatever, cool right? or whatever. |
| #17ADHadhNov 30, 2012 1:08:06 | Aww, you have a cute familiar. "Go for the eyes Boo, go for the eyes! YEEAAAAARGH!" |
| #18The_SilverswordNov 30, 2012 1:51:49 | A miniature giant space hamster would make for a great familiar! |
| #19dirtyfrankNov 30, 2012 1:54:44 | The picture is too big for me to enjoy it. |
| #20dirtyfrankNov 30, 2012 2:18:47 | That is what she said. |
