Funniest bad translation related to D&D (by non english people)

It was back to 2nd edition (about 15 years ago).

A friend of ours bought his books in english because they were cheaper and he said he is good enough in english to understand. (we all come from Québec, and we speak french)

So, he played a cleric and we were locked in jail ... He casted "Heat metal" and said to the DM "I take bites in the door cell until the hole is big enough to escape"

I never laughed so long ... It's still a joke among us when we play to cast "Eat metal"
