| #1zombie_babiesFeb 24, 2011 13:38:00 | Link Ok, he's probably not a furry and he's being asked to resign for various reasons including pill poppin'. But this does beg the question: are furries fit to legislate? |
| #2EscherEnigmaFeb 24, 2011 14:22:47 | I assure you that there are legislators, right now, who are furries. I've no clue who they actually are, but it seems very very unlikely that there aren't. And like most "secrets", it's a catch-22. You're screwed if you keep secrets, screwed if you reveal 'em. |
| #3zombie_babiesFeb 24, 2011 14:24:45 | But that doesn't answer my silly question! ![]() |
| #4ADHadhFeb 24, 2011 14:27:19 | Better a furry than an otherkin. |
| #5KillerGMFeb 24, 2011 14:30:50 | Serious response is serious: I don't see how being a furry should interfere with a Congressman's duty. His private life is his own, and should remain as such, so long as he's not breaking any laws. Same as anybody. Silly response is silly: Sure! They're GRRRRRRRRRREAT! ![]() |
| #6iqwinnFeb 24, 2011 21:51:37 | Getting dressed up in a tiger costume in your own home? Hmmmmmm...me and the wife....Heeeeeere kitty-kitty-kitty-kitty! Taking pics and sending them to your staff members? Very questionable judgment. Taking a couple of "pain killers" given to you by an "unnamed campaign donor"? Ass-hat stupid. |
| #7pluisjenFeb 25, 2011 5:51:50 | That doesn't look very furry to me... that's just a guy in a carneval suit. This is a furry: |
| #8jetshieldFeb 25, 2011 6:11:00 | "He has a really important job, and the citizens of Oregon and the citizens of the congressional district deserve to have a congressman who's completely focused on serving them and being a great congressman," So, congressmen aren't supposed to have any fun or have a sense of humor? They're not alowed to have lives or thoughts outside the needs of the people they represent? I knew there was a reason I never wanted to be a congressman. There should be a Furry (political) Party. Vote Furry for president! ![]() |
| #9zombie_babiesFeb 25, 2011 12:05:07 | Never. Get enough furries in Congress and the whole damn thing would just be a gigantic **** chamber. Then again, it would likely encourage bipartisan participation so maybe there is an upside. |
| #10iqwinnFeb 25, 2011 14:37:18 | Never. Get enough furries in Congress and the whole damn thing would just be a gigantic **** chamber. Then again, it would likely encourage bipartisan participation so maybe there is an upside. You mean, Congress isn't one gigantic **** chamber? |

Troll furry. She's also into FLARPing and cat puns. And has a bitchin hat and jacket. |
| #13mock26Feb 26, 2011 14:40:01 | But this does beg the question: are furries fit to legislate? Yes. They are fit to legislate. I think that furries are no more mentally unstable than christians (or jews or muslims or hindus or anyone else of any faith), and if they are fit to legislate then so, too, are furries. |
| #14pluisjenFeb 27, 2011 3:19:31 | Being a furry isn't a faith, it's just a past-time. Like internet-trolling. A chance to be anonymous and have some fun doing things you wouldn't do if you weren't being anonymous. |
| #15ADHadhFeb 27, 2011 6:55:27 | Being a furry isn't a faith, it's just a past-time. (...) You're wrong, being a Furry is Serious Business. And they're so persecuted! No one understands! ![]() |

I think you meant "AS which animal"... "In which animal" implies that you're wearing the actual whole animal as your costume. Which, I suppose, you might be if you were dressing as a cow, bear or other large animal, but not particularly likely otherwise... |
| #17Mata_HariFeb 27, 2011 10:23:15 | Dude is dans la merde. |
| #18Mata_HariFeb 27, 2011 10:26:48 | Le guy in the OP? |
| #19pluisjenFeb 27, 2011 13:38:37 | Being a furry isn't a faith, it's just a past-time. Like internet-trolling. A chance to be anonymous and have some fun doing things you wouldn't do if you weren't being anonymous. Rawr. But really I only dress up like celts and pirates, I don't have a furry suit. They're a bit too expensive and hot for my tastes. |
| #20toastedamphibianFeb 28, 2011 17:20:02 | Who in their right mind would want to bear a moniker as some type of animal? Disgraceful. |
| #21zombie_babiesMar 01, 2011 12:29:42 | Dude is dans la merde. Dragonette is an interesting band. My fiancee is a fan and I like some of their stuff. And ... uhh ... that's it, I guess. |
| #22JhariiMar 01, 2011 14:05:32 | Link Of course they are. They're Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!!! Edit: Silly response is silly: Dammit. You beat me to it. ![]() |
