#4 mycroftb Nov 04, 2008 22:37:38	Saw it, nothing really D&D related except for the concept of a DM, a DM's screen, and players rolling funny shaped dice. Everything in the fantasy section is either disappointingly generic or very obviously LotR inspired.

#6 stealthmarmot Nov 05, 2008 13:57:46	I find the part where Bender acts scared at the mention of Dungeons and Dragons amusing. The ubergeek in me screams "Why is he using a 12 sided die! No one uses those for anything!" Edit: Rented it. They have an entire featurette on D&D's influence in Futurama, and the movie is dedicated to Gygax. Aside from that, the movie is Futurama, so it is by definition awesomesauce in a can. RENT! IT! OR BUY IT! OR DOWNLOAD IT! Torrents work great.
