Eh.  I'm finishing up my (hopefully) second-to-last semester, and the only real class I have left I'm the least bit concerned about is annoying me.  So mildy stressed with that, since I really really really don't want to take this class again.  Also, I'm working out regularly.  Which sucks.  Partly because I'm a twig of a man, but partly because I only vaguely know what I'm doing, which leads to me double-guessing what I'm doing a lot.

But over all, not a whole lot going on in Escher land, just running on "mildly active" till May.

You do realize that works better in your sig, right?  If it's in your message body people can just hit "quote" and see what's nested inside immediately, but if it's in your sig the only way to see what's in the center is to go through all the chains.

But then I have to put it in my sig and leave it there.

Well, I won't lie to you guys. I was doing pretty bad while I was gone. Really awful depression caused by a mixture of malnutrition, sleep deprivation, college and financial pressures, solitude, and finding out the instant that it became even the slightest bit of an inconvenience to them, my so-called RL friends would abandon me. I won't go into it too much, but It was pretty not fun.

But I'm doing better now. I'm trying to eat better, I'm enrolled in a new course, trying to meet new people. I think I'm ready to re-join team OTTer.

Gots me HeartGold Pokemon and while that's a call for happy times all around, i also got the new DSi XL on monday, this being quite an upgrade to my old 1st gen DS.

the larger screen has to be played with to really understand how awesome it is. i mean, i went from having 2 tiny little no-backlight screens to having 2 well-lit iphones.

it's a nice piece of hardware too: 2 cameras (one on front cover, one on the inside joint near the mic), an SD card slot, wifi+browser, sound recorder/mixer, bonus of free BrainAge, ect... all included in the default software. i was hesitant at first for the 200$ price tag, but i'm very happy with my purchase. it also seems like you can connect to nintendo's online store to make extra purchases, though with my lack of credit card, i've yet to check that out.

Sorry to hear that, Owls. I've had some similar experiences, but not nearly as rough as all that (mostly school and financial pressures. Partially friend issues, but that's mostly because getting them to do anything is like herding cats. No malice on their part).

Anyway, glad you're ready to come back to the Tavern. There'll always be a seat here for you!

Ah... I think it might've gotten set on fire last night when nobody was on and I got bored... Sorry.

Welcome back Owls.

Well I've gotten a job. Nothing to write home about really but it's work. So I'm doing my best with it.

Got some new fish. Got a nice computer now (hand me down but still!)

waiting on something so I can do stuff. And have fun.

Glad to have you back buddy. Here you can have my seat since someone set fire to your's.  I'll just sit in a new spot.

Huh... I thought there was a whole lot less... you know... roof than the last time I was here. I just didn't want to say anything about it.

PK, are you still 15?

If not... actually nevermind. I'm not sure I want to take that kind of potential heat.

Eh, I'm probably not going to get the XL, mostly because my standard DSi works fine and is a more comfortable size.

As for HG/SS.... I got them on the release date (thanks to convincing some people to pre-order them for a B-day present) and I'm in the limbo between Blue and Red in terms of levels. All I can do is go and beat the snot out of as many trainers as possible, but there's no Versus Seeker to find good battles with decent trainers...

At least I've got my bloody radio again...

That assumes anoyone cares enough to bother.

Yeah, I don't think that ever really 'works'.  I mean, if I click an sblock for whatever reason and am immediately greeted by another, I just ignore it.

It's mostly just irritating, but I'll do it if I'm supremely bored.
