Do you HAVE to sand off the imperfection from the mold? I'm afraid I'll sand it too much, ect. I've looked all over for an answer, even emailed the company.....no reply.

All GameScience precision dice are precision-tested and razor-edged (with sharp points!) because they have not been tumbled or sanded.To smooth down the spot on your die that is rough from being broken from the sprue, simply use hobby/automotive sandpaper.These sharp-edged dice are better than the egg-shaped round-edged imported dice because they will roll accurately.
Considering these are reportedly the most balanced dice available, the OP is quite the opposite of what you accuse him of being.

Chances are if you've met Mr. Zocchi at a game con, or have seen his youtube video, you may have given his dice a chance. With that being said, I was curious if everyone sanded the blemish. I couldn't tell from what's said in the video and on their website if you have to remove it. Like I said, I emailed the company and haven't got a reply, and the only 800 number is for the company selling the dice, Gamestation. I may try and give them a call Monday, but I'd still like to hear other gamers' expericences.

If memory serves I remember him saying that the rest of the edges were sharp enough that you don't have to sand them.
Basically, the weight and shape are infinitessimally relevant, but on any normal surface it should still stop on the side with the imperfection.
I know it doesn't matter on many of the dice (d10 for example). The d20 could probably do with a light sanding, but nothing major. Just enough to round the top.
You just gotta love your dice long enough.
Also don't cheat on your dice or they get vindictive...
With my GS dice I used a razor knife to remove the rough edge. No sanding needed.

If you yhink someone is "flaming", the correct thing to do would be to report it.
Not call them names, therfore making yourself guility of "baiting".
Be thankful they just bark at you. They could leave their "mark" on you instead. Though that tends to be an opportunity for a well placed kick.
As for the gamescience dice; I have yet to try them myself.

Yeah, I've never used Gamescience dice. I just can't bring myself to buy dice if there doesn't seem to be a need (I've never had to purchase dice for D&D due to gifts, and the only reason I bought GW dice was because I needed a lot of d6s).

I love flamers.
One kind is delightfully campy. Another is the easiest way for infantry men to take out a battlemech. Although the forum ones are bad, I am decidedly pro-flamer in other regards.
I don't like 'em at all. Light mechs equipped with flamers and machine guns can run circles around the mechs I like to use and really crush my heat. Not cool. Literally not cool.
I know. I once customed a light mech that was all engines, heat sinks, and flamers. I took out a battlemaster with it in one-on-one combat. It was hilarious.
