| #2bardiquesMar 23, 2009 12:50:36 | Battlewhutsit? Galahuhit? Ooooh, you mean that show on that one channel? Kinda like LOST or Survivor? Just, no. You can't get lower then those two shows. Ehhh, I never understood why people liked BSG so much, It has [IMO] no flavour, no story, terrible acting ["Frack!"!? ftw??] and just overall bleh. Now, if you wanted to talk shop about a Real Sci-Fi story, let's discuss StarGate SG-1!! [Note: SARCASM] I didn't mind BSG, though I don't care much one way or the other if It's gone. They still run Farscape reruns, so I doubt that SyFy [or whatever the hell they call themselves these days] would not run BSG to keep the viewers happy. |
| #3zombie_babiesMar 23, 2009 12:53:31 | It was a great show. Apparently, there's to be some sort of spin-off with a mini-series (show?) called Caprica. It looks to be quite different from BSG, though. |
| #4stompie5Mar 23, 2009 13:05:34 | I heard about Caprica, but I'm not really excited about it. I'll give it a chance when it comes out though. Everyone who I knew who bad mouthed BSG quickly had a change of heart when they actually watched it. My dad, he HATES science fiction, but he even liked the show. Now excuse me, I have to go find a new purpose for Friday Night. |
| #5bardiquesMar 23, 2009 13:08:11 | I like to go the bar on Friday nights myself. Relax after work, kickoff the weekend with a start. Wander home in a drunken stupor, making outrageous claims like I invented to the question mark to random pedestrians, to finally pass out on my lawn and wake up half submerged in the pool. Such a better use of my time then watching kickass "Scy-Fy" shows, you know? |
| #6stompie5Mar 23, 2009 13:16:29 | I can hardly drink anymore. I fear I might of overdone it, because now I always get sick. It sucks. Psssh, now I'll have to go get a date with some girl and tell her about how I would rather watch BSG than hang out with her... |
| #7bardiquesMar 23, 2009 13:22:15 | I think that would be the best date I have ever heard of. If at all possible, you must secretly tape the whole thing from start to end. Then, after you get beat on for being a punk, post it on YouTube. Within three days I guarantee you will reach online celebrity status. Within a week I predict a talk show with Oprah. And then, from this highest seat of power, you can vouch for the awesomeness of BSG and rally the support of the world to your cause in order to keep the show going. After witnessing the awesomeness of your words, even Obama himself will put his Presidential weight behind your cause and voila! BSG is back, baby! :D |

The whole "The Plan" miniseries looks interesting. I wasn't able to keep up towards the end of the run, unfortunately. I also found the finale a little trite, what with the whole Show Stable Time Loop/Cyclical Future thing. |
| #9KillerGMMar 23, 2009 13:26:27 | I have the last few episodes on my DVR, but haven't really had any interest in watching them. I really liked it when it first came out, and I still love many of the characters, but it just kind of ... wore on, for me. While I wouldn't say it was the best show out there *cough* Farscape *cough*, at least it got to finish the story. *cough* Farscape *cough* |

Time to meet some women. *wanders over to the ladies restroom |
| #11bardiquesMar 23, 2009 13:34:45 | Hahaha. Well, if that's how you meet the women in the first place, I think you're going to get smacked twice! |
| #12zombie_babiesMar 23, 2009 13:37:45 | The whole "The Plan" miniseries looks interesting. |
| #13stompie5Mar 23, 2009 13:40:57 | Is farscape really a good show? I've never heard of it. |
| #14rakeMar 23, 2009 13:41:38 | In this thread: a bunch of nerds. Amirite? ![]() |

| #16bardiquesMar 23, 2009 13:43:06 | ![]() Nah, Farscape is one of those underground Cult shows that either you love it or you hate it. Or either you've heard of it or you haven't. I loved the tar out of it, still watch the odd rerun every now and then. It was pretty unique and original when it came out, compared to all the other oddball Sci-Fi shows at the time. So I loved watching it for that alone. |
| #17batshidoMar 23, 2009 13:55:17 | Yeah, I'm going to check it out, but I'm not sold yet. Looks ok. |
| #18zombie_babiesMar 23, 2009 14:04:32 | The only thing I found redeeming about the way they did it was |

| #23rakeMar 24, 2009 9:48:09 | LOST USED TO ROCK! Fixed that for you. |
