There may be political outcomes from economy, but the focus here is on whether we are headed for a great depression situation. I'll go a step further and ask people to leave partisan politics out of the discussion.

How has the economy impacted you? The economy will improve, it always does. Everyone makes a big deal out of every economic failure. Economic patterns have always followed a 'wave' pattern. Economy sucks, economy recovers, economy thrives, econemy sucks, economy recovers, economy thrives...
