| #1otherdocJun 02, 2008 1:01:21 | I realized that I haven't posted anything yet, so I thought I'd drop in and say hello. Er... Hello! I realize that this is the point at which I should be telling you things about myself, but it's nearly 2 AM and I have to work tomorrow, so I'm afraid I'll have to just stick with the Hello for now and do a follow-up later on. (Gah, accursed need for income! How dare the maintenance of food and shelter interfere with my forum-posting! Curses, I say!) ;) |
| #2ShiftkittyJun 03, 2008 20:14:58 | Hi. |
| #3pigknightJun 03, 2008 21:33:53 | So are you pro- or anti- 4e? What...it had to be asked. And hi. |
| #4otherdocJun 03, 2008 22:55:47 | Ah, right out of the gate. The answer to your question is "no." I'm going to look it over, try it out first, kick the tires a bit, see how it handles at Mach 3, find out if it likes to wake me up with drunken phone calls in the middle of the night, etc., before I decide if I'm going to leap to one side of the fence or the other. Though, granted, there aren't that many games I can say I'm "against." Except possibly Rolemaster. And Twister. Bad back and all. ![]() |
| #5pigknightJun 04, 2008 19:05:18 | How can you be against Twister? Twister+booze= . And what do you meant by no? |
| #6ShiftkittyJun 04, 2008 19:50:59 | Well, Twister + Bad Back = No Longer Ambulatory. HOWEVER... Twister + Bad Back = Great Excuse to Play Twister on Something Soft and Springy, Like An Air Matress or a Trampoline. Twister on Something Soft and Springy, Like An Air Matress or a Trampoline + Somebody Really Attractive To You + "Losing" = Somebody Really Attractive To You Falling On Top of You. Somebody Really Attractive To You Falling On Top of You = "Winning" ;) |
| #7otherdocJun 04, 2008 22:20:15 | Well, Twister + Bad Back = No Longer Ambulatory. Okay, now I must thank you profusely for planning my next pickup attempt. ![]() |
| #8otherdocJun 04, 2008 22:23:46 | And what do you meant by no? Am I pro- or anti- 4e? No, I'm not. At present I am neither for nor against 4th edition. That may change after I get a chance to play with it a bit, though. We'll have to see. |
| #9pigknightJun 05, 2008 18:54:29 | Got it. Also, Twister changes considerably before and after puberty. |
