Peeps need to lighten up.  And anyone surprised by MacFarlane's content doesn't have the first clue about what it is he does ... and have probably been living in a cave for the past decade or so.

I've heard his joked were all shock value and no comedy.
After trying to watch Family Guy a few times I wouldn't be surprised.
Seth MacFarlane may or may not be racist or sexist, even shocking to more faint of heart, but he certainly isn't funny

Self-important media personalities?

Agreed, but the Awards as a whole are a joke. Funny how that works, eh?

Oh yeah, totally.  I mean, I'd never watch 'em.  Readin' what he said was funny, though - especially when ya think about where he said it and who he said it all in front of.

I agree. That Lincoln bit was a killer.

Nice.

I like how he tossed Clooney a bottle.  At least it wasn't the same old safe crap that most of those idiots do.  It's like people don't know what funny is anymore.

Considering how many people call MacFarlane funny, I couldn't agree more

You like soccer.  Your judgment is obviously suspect.

BTW: You ever read the Conrad Stargard series, ADH?

First time I've heard of it. I don't think it's been published in Poland.

Well, damn.  That's lame.  I wanted to see how an American did with Polish geography/history (before the main character sends the timeline onto another track).

I'm not very knowledgeable about either of those anyway; you'd probably have more luck just googling stuff

Google shmoogle.  I started reading those before Al Gore single-handedly invented the intrawebz with a wave of his radiant personality.
