| #1foxenAug 29, 2008 6:51:00 | Halloween is coming up in a few short months...too short...and it'll be on a Friday this year meaning more madness with more people (who don't have to go to work the next day)... Just wondering what all your plans are for Halloween....and please feel free to post pix from pervious years! My friends and I are kinda stuck...we definitely don't have the time and money to do what I want to do...Pirate (including a pirate ship) or the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse (and after last year, my friend no longer wants to be War, he wore half of the War costume and hated it). I was thinking Knights and Dragons...but I don't think I can pull off a dragon in time. Any ideas would be great too! Fox |
| #2zombie_babiesAug 29, 2008 8:29:26 | Well, I was planning on being an adult. I'm 30 and never liked dressing up anyway. Plus the fiancee will probably make me sit outside and pass candy out again. On the plus side, I'll certainly be drinking. And that helps. ;) |
| #3bob_loblawAug 29, 2008 8:53:55 | I have been contemplating going as Baby Huey or a Jack o' Lantern. If I go as a Jack o' Lantern I would eat a ton of carrots so my skin turns orange and then paint my belly with some vertical lines and a face. I've got a round belly so I could do either one. One of my friends suggested I go as a cheerleader who let herself go. |
| #4goblin_prideAug 29, 2008 9:00:07 | Since it falls on a Friday, I'll be dressing up as a cab driver (complete with cab) and hauling drunken idiots home from the bar all night. I'll probably age another 10 years from this halloween too. Something about people in masks hopping in and out of the backseat all night does wonders to your nerves, lemme tellya. |
| #5batshidoAug 29, 2008 9:02:12 | I probably won't do anything, to be honest. I had a Saga game with a guy last night who says he's dressing up like a Jawa. He's 6'6", 330 lbs. |
| #6knights_discipleAug 29, 2008 9:20:34 | Hm. Friday...mean's I'll be working. Ah well. |
| #7farmer42_dupAug 29, 2008 12:05:23 | I'm thinking I'll go as McCain and scare the bejeesus out of my liberal friends. Maybe yell at those damn kids to get off my lawn. On a more serious (is that possible, when discussing Halloween?) note, It's more than likely to be one of William Wallace's troop, complete with kilt and woad. |
| #8cool_dude1010Aug 29, 2008 17:24:54 | I'm gonna be a skinhead,Ill probably shave my head, get some suspenders, and boots. |
| #9Cohen95Aug 29, 2008 17:37:45 | My girlfriend is going as a devil, I'm going as an angel. My costume? An all-white suit, complete with 6-button mandarin collar (think Marine Corps) jacket, a large pair of white wings, and a white fedora. I'm considering whether it would strengthen or confuse the concept to add an armor chestplate to the costume, wearing it under the jacket, with the jacket unbottoned. Along with that, I'd probably carry a sword (flaming, if possible). That would, in my mind, add a bit of an Archangel flavor. Think it'd work? Or just be confusing? |

| #11Mad_JackAug 31, 2008 21:10:59 | I don't generally go out anywhere on Halloween - usually I stay home and pass out candy for awhile until the kids stop flowing, then just hang out online. If I do decide to dress up, I'll just throw on my Eddie costume - I was in a Rocky Horror Picture Show cast for years, and I'm a lazy bastard so all my gear's still packed in my minivan, lol... On the other hand, if I do get inspired I've got a Hellboy tail (although I tossed the big hand) and outfits for the Incredible Hulk and Marv from Sin City... Hm, maybe if I get around to it I'll respray the Hellboy tail green and use the Hulk outfit to do Doctor Kurt Connors, a.k.a. The Lizard.... A good head for the costume would be a project, though. |
| #12daemianAug 31, 2008 21:30:01 | im dressing up like a death cultist |
| #13Dark_StrykeSep 01, 2008 2:28:50 | A friend of mine and I are thinking of going as a medic and a heavy from TF2. One thing I've always wanted to go as, is a car. Seriously. I could get a bunch of cardboard boxes and paint them up, then grab a friend, get on our bikes, put the "car suit" on, and cause some confusion. |
