Edit: Bleh.  Looked up a news article.  He cut his hair and shaved his goatee.  How sad.  Still, he can't be worse then other right-wing candidates.  And unless he's changed positions since he was playing at running for mayor, he's for gay marriage, so he's already head-and-shoulders above his republican competition as far as I'm concerned.

What American's need is a president who seeks to empower the people and to allow the free market to determine value, not a president intent on empowering government and misappropriating the resources of the productive class.

It's the family business. I wonder if daddy will be proud, jealous, or both if he somehow manages to get elected. (Unfathomably unlikely as that is.)

No no, when I said he was like the green party I meant: "He is like the green party..." not "He is, like, the green party..." It was a response to Z_B's comment about him having no chance: just like the green party.

In that case, I'm still not so sure.  I mean, I'm not too keen on political speculation, but are there any strong Republican contenders for the 2012 cycle?  All the ones I know of have serious problems to overcome, so a celebrity contender might actually be able to pull it off.  But as I said, I'm not terribly keen on political speculation. Anyway, probably getting too overtly political here.
