I read that Hasbro, proud owners of WotC, are in fact the original inventors of Mr. Potato Head.

Is that good or bad for D&D?

It's irrelevant to D&D.

When we play D&D, my daughter (age 3) likes to have a character sheet in front of her that she scribbles all over. If it's just a blank paper, it's not good enough.

Also, Mr. Potato Head is one of her favourite toys.

Also, the original was a bucket of parts. No plastic potato; you used a real one. Or so I've heard.

The fact that my daughter likes both is the only connection I can figure out.

Correct! I have fond memories of making not only Mr. P/H but also Mr Banana, used to fall over a lot, Mr Orange, Mr Apple, Mr Bunch of Grapes, who was really rubbish and just lay there!

I still say that we're all doomed. D&D is forever spuddified. {sniff}

For your edification, I am not Lhockee.
I am only one persona, and always have been.
Now, I may have changed personas a number of times, but I am always just one.

Please... do not infer that I am, or have, a sock puppet.
Thanks!

WTF does Mr. Potatohead have to do with D&D?
How can any comparison be made at all?
This is juvenile...

And you seem to be disagreing with shaz, leading me to inquire if the hate is fighting with itself. Hate fighting hate is logically one sided, so the fact that half the hate is dead really isn a revelation.

Anywho, question mostly answered.
