| #2dirtyfrankDec 20, 2012 2:47:58 | Boys should learn to bake/cook/whatever with a real oven as god intended. |
| #3The_SilverswordDec 20, 2012 4:14:10 | Amen |
| #4zombie_babiesDec 20, 2012 8:15:17 | Exactly. Teach a boy to bake and he'll end up getting those newfound baking feeling confused with those other feelings that rage through boys that are growing up. He'll inevitibly try to combine his two passions and end up baking his mother or something. |
| #5Cpt_MichaDec 20, 2012 11:02:20 | And everyone knows the only humans you should be cooking are babies. Everything else is too gamey. |
| #6jetshieldDec 20, 2012 11:35:26 | What amazes me about that article is the comments. There was not one (when I read it) on the first page that was screaming "OMG! NOOOO!! GETTING AN EASY BAKE FOR A BOY WILL MAKE THEM TURN INTO !!!111!!111!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!!one11!!!"There might be hope for the human race yet. Also And everyone knows the only humans you should be cooking are babies. Everything else is too gamey. With the right marinade and seasonings, the gameyness can be reduced to a pleasant level, as long as we're not talking about someone like RH's "friend". ![]() |
| #7zombie_babiesDec 20, 2012 11:43:11 | Yeah, you'd have to pound that pretty hard and for a long while to get it any kind of tender. Hmm ... I bet RH would be down for that. ![]() |
| #8Robin_HoodlumDec 20, 2012 12:04:18 | HASBRO... Meh! ![]() |
| #9trappedsliderDec 20, 2012 12:36:11 | HASBRO... says a guy posting on a website for a subsediery of hasbro ![]() |
| #10Robin_HoodlumDec 20, 2012 13:10:14 | HASBRO... So? Most of their games suck. And the good games they purchase from other companies (Heroscape and AH games), they turn to rot and/ or dis-continue them. Example: Take a look at the figures for Heroscape before HASBRO, and then look at them after purchase by HASBRO... see what I mean? And don't get me started on the debacle that D&D has become. |
| #11zombie_babiesDec 20, 2012 13:13:45 | So you have to like something to talk about it (or not)? Well, that's certainly news to, like, everyone in the world. |

Well, that's certainly news to, like, everyone in the world. no, I just thought it wasa funny enough to me to comment, I already knew of RH's hatared for hasbro sincew they ruined his childhood or whenever he started playing WotC games... |

| #16xladyfayreDec 28, 2012 14:03:17 | I think its great because honestly why should baking just be a girl's thing? I once watched a Disney Channel Original Movie called Eddie's Million Dollar Cook-Off which was about a boy who loved cooking, baking, and creating odd things in the kitchen but often did so at night so his father wouldn't notice. He quit computer class to sign up for home-ec and tricked his friend's into signing up. He did very well in the class and all that but the cook-off was the same day as a big baseball game which his dad coached. He didn't hate baseball but he would rather cook instead. It honestly doesn't make any sense why its made just for girls. A lot of prominant chefs are MEN. Look at Chefs Bobby Flay, Micheal Simon, Guy Fietti, and Robert Irvine. Some of them are even Iron Chefs. They are all MEN. An Easy-Bake is just a first step in getting a child interested in cooking at whatnot. Honestly, I was never into cooking but maybe if I had an Easy-Bake as a kid I might have been. Really though, a kid doesn't need one to be interested in the kitchen. My boyfriend was always interested in cooking as a kid. He would bake cookies and pies with his grandmother and his mom. There's nothing wrong with that. Just the same as wood work. Why should that be just for guys? I know a girl who loves making stuff from wood and made stuff for her house. There is no reason why some things should just be for one gender. |
| #17pigknightDec 28, 2012 15:24:15 | I like using the oven. Infinitely better than the microwave. |
| #18homicidal_squirrelDec 28, 2012 16:14:24 | There is no reason why some things should just be for one gender. Prostate exam. /And thread |
| #19Robin_HoodlumDec 28, 2012 22:01:11 | There is no reason why some things should just be for one gender. And PAP smears. |
| #20Ragnar_LodbrokDec 29, 2012 0:07:33 | There is no reason why some things should just be for one gender. Well, gender is just what you identify as. Sex is what you, physically, are. (At least, that's how I've heard it explained.) So a transgender person may well be able to get a prostate exam. Or a PAP smear. ![]() |
