Thus forcing the non-customer to remain parked in the lot so that a customer can't use that spot.

It probably made sense to the guy who booted the ambulance with the paramedics working on a store customer. But it seems that this isn't something that should be blamed only on the employee. It seems this convinience store is shifty as all hell when it comes to parking and booting.
