Robin_Hoodlums wife recently left him, and he is struggling to pay child support.... as well as his rent, groceries, fuel, and bills!
Please make a generous donation to R_H... especially so he can pay his cable bill and continue to enlighten us with his wisdom!

This is the time of year we need to think about others less fortunate than us, and try to help out all we can!

Remeber, R_H really needs our help! I am scared to think what might happen to him if we all don't make a large donation to his personal bank account!

Thanks everybody, and...

Merry Christmas!

...So why did you speak in third person? Last time I checked, that was not your chosen posting style and/or syntax...

I kinda felt it was a joke. But I didn't wanna come out and say, "Is this a joke?" and have it be real and seem like a total a-hole.

LOL!
But if you think that if that really happened I would actually do something like this, then you don't know me very well!

Dude, you were supposed to post this from a brand new sock-puppet account.

Were RH's wife ever to leave him I'm certain he's not the type to whine about it online. I'm sure it would affect the tenor of his posts, as it would evey aspect of his life, and the information would eventually come out, but I sincerely doubt he'd make a pity-thread about it. It's just not who he is (IMO). I also believe he'd do anything it takes to make sure his kids are taken care of (again, IMO).

FG posted a picture of a cute dog.

You should have posted a picture of you unshaved, in your underwear, surrounded by dirty dishes. It would have added to the credibility of  the claim.

LOL!
Yeah, I should have!

He said he couldn't afford to get food, so I'm offering to send him food Tongue out

Most people that ask for money for food get very insulted when you actually offer them food because that's what they want, because they're not really asking for money for food. It's the fastest way to figure out if they're being honest.

As for a can of beans; well it's the kind of thing that would actually still be edible by the time it arrives.

They are pitiful.
And most probably suffer from mental disorders (as well as alcoholism and substance abuse).

Yeah, I feel sorry for them, but I have my own family to take care of and worry about...

Interestingly, the Dutch "lul" is slang for penis and lulz is too easily mistaken for penises, which makes me chuckle about your "brew".

Sorry.

Hey man, just cos we disagree on, well, pretty much everything, doesn't mean I don't like you and can't recognize a stand-up guy.

Not all us leftie atheist progressives are dumb knee-jerk thickies, ya know. ;)

Do you accept Monopoly money? I recently passed GO and came into a small inheritance (as chance would have it!) and I feel like sharing. Where should I wire you some funds?

If a "T" was in the republican name, it could easily be turned in a cross. Alas, it is not the case.

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story, or joke.

Once my dad bought a carton of milk for a begging Rom woman, who asked for money for "milk for her child" (she was holding that child btw.).
Man, did she flip out.

I bought some bannanas and ate with a begger on my lunch break when I worked at a super market.

Never asked me for money again though.
