I'm in a class called Instructional Design, currently undergoing a quarter-long project on workflow. Each team is tasked with creating a product (or prototype) related to instruction, and then going through the process of project mnagement from conception to final production. My team and I are in the process of constructing a board game.

The part of the process right now that I am tasked with is the application of a client survey. So, I've created a brief questionaire to help gather some data that will aid the development of the game. I'm posting here with the hopes of gaining the assistance of the gaming community. If you happen across this, please help me out by spending a few minutes to answer a handful of questions.

For ease of answering, I'm creating a simple key to reduce the congestion of responses. Each question will be numbered (1, 2, 3, etc) and responses will be lettered (a, b, c, etc). Each answer can quickly be submitted then as a combination of the two, with a couple exceptions. Some questions ask for a rating, and would then require a different format for answering (ie, 2 a4 b3 c5). Some questions also offer an 'other' category for responses that aren't defined.

My apologies if some of the questions are confusing. I've never had to create a survey before.

1. How much time do you spend playing games each week (on average)
a. 0 - 1 hours  b. 1 - 5 hours  c. 5 - 10 hours  d. 10 - 20 hours  e. 20+ hours

2. How much do you enjoy the following types of games?
(please rate individually, 1 least favorite, to 5 most favorite)
a. board games  b. card games  c. dice games  d. video games  e. other (please specify)

3. How much do you enjoy the following elements of games?
(please rate individually, 1 least favorite, to 5 most favorite)
a. strategy/tactics  b. luck/chance  c. logic  d. skill/dexterity  e. trivia/knowledge  f. other

4. How much do you enjoy the following game settings?
(please rate individually, 1 least favorite, to 5 most favorite)
a. fantasy  b. modern  c. futuristic/sci fi  d. historical  e. other (please specify)

5. How many players do you prefer a game to be intended for?
a. solo  b. small groups  c. large groups  d. massive groups

6. How do you prefer multiplayer games to be oriented?
a. team vs. team  b. free-for-all  c. cooperative  d. other (please specify)

For anyone willing to lend a hand with this, I greatly appreciate it. Also, this assignment will be due on June 30, so I need at least a few responses promptly to meet the minimum requirements. However, as this is an ongoing project, continued support would be appreciated as well. I will do what I can to reward anyone generous enough to help me out. Perhaps a copy of the final version of the game, when it's completed?

you should try and making your survey on one of the free survey sites. there are a few you could use like:
www.surveymonkey.com/
freeonlinesurveys.com/
www.kwiksurveys.com/

it would make your data analysis so much easier

Ya...don't use the OTT. We'll probably derail it and make it about albino waffles or something.
