I do not think there is a plan for them to be used at fire stations or in residential fires. My area has had funds cut for it's fire department, including air support for forest fires. (and we have had 6 major fires here in three years) I am not sure how I feel about it. I wonder how they would be monitored and what the qualifications would be to make them eligible? I also wonder if they receive reductions in their sentences? |
