So then its official WotC has killed my favorite game. Sigh really sad to see Heroscape go. Anyone else here a big fan?

Let's just hope one of the other SMART game companies picks Heroscape up.

I LOVED that game. Used to play it with my Grandpa. I have basically every expansion pack.
Sigh.

You clearly have no idea how Hasbro works.
Just because they discontinue a product, that in no way means that they'll let some other company (that they don't own - WoTC for example) ever make it.  No, odds are that they'll sit on it until Hell freezes over - denying any other company from making a 1$ on it.
Maybe someday down the road though they'll dust off the brand if they see an opprotunity.  They could also opt to liscence it out to someone else - but we've seen how that turned out for those third parties making 3x Ravenloft & Dragonlance books.  Paizos deal to publish Dragon & Dungeon magazines also.  Didn't we?  One day the sun rises & they find their deals not getting renewed....

Sigh I know how it works. Right now they are in discussions about selling it(YEAH). Anyway I was just seeing if there was any kind of interest in the game here on Wizards on boards.

I got some for my nephew last Christmas, and I bought the Underdark set myself a while back. But I have never actually played it. The mechanics seem to be a take off on HeroQuest, adapted for the 3D terrain. I've never actually played it.

I know that some Battletech players use HeroScape tiles for terrain.
