#1 LFK Jun 07, 2011 23:06:13	Howdy, all, I realize I haven't been around much in the forums these days, kinda fell out of the habit after I left Australia, but I'm back 'cus I need help with an ongoing project. Last year I did a pilot for a web series called Folding Ideas. The project floundered due to a co-producer flaking out and some disagreements between my landlord and I about my internet access; a second episode was shot, but then abandoned. A few weeks ago a couple separate projects came together and I decided to re-tool the show around a slightly different format than the pilot. I'm now three and a half episodes into the new format (Episode 5 is partially written) and I need some help. 1) I need some feedback - where do people think the show should go, is it too dense, too fast, too shallow? 2) I need some criticism - I'm mostly just hearing from people I see face-to-face, so their reactions are always filtered through what they know of me IRL. This is fine, to a point, but there's something to be said about blind, hurtful belligerance too. Not that I'm looking for hatemail, I just need the eyes of people not as emotionally invested. 3) I need some ideas - what topics/games/movies/shows/albums deserve a deeper look? So, here's the link to the show (if you didn't click the one up above.) Also, as an added incentive, if you're a voyeur then you can go back and watch the Pilot and see what I really look like (it's not a cabbage). Thanks guys and gals (and, yes, I'm already trying to find a good topic to fit RPGs, particularely D&D and Dark*Matter, into the discussion.)

Perhapes if you explained what it is, or had a more animated cabbage, I could be compelled to give it a whirl.

While the points may be accurate (I've never seen the movie in question in this review), it can come off as wordy, and abit cumbersome like it's being read off a research paper a well done research paper, but a research paper none the less. You might want to introduce abit more humor (maybe dry humor as to keep with the tone of your review). It's interesting, if only because your style is so different, to people like sfdebris, linkara, nostalgia critic, etc.

Episodes vary between a more focused look at how a single work expresses an idea or technique and broader brush-stroke looks at an idea across many different works.
