Hi! Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Finally got started DMing a 4e game, so I thought it couldn't hurt to create an account. It's my first experience running a game in almost seven years, and I'm excited about it, and so far my players seem to think I'm not completely botching the job. I've been passively reading the forums for a month or two now and, I figured that it couldn't hurt to create an account should I have any questions or concerns that I want to lay before the general community, or to respond to those of others.

Word of advice: don't come to the OTT for questions and concerns
DO come to us with funny Youtube links and random thoughts on the state of human affairs, we will give you cookies

Hello DrFredirk. Is Fredirk like your last name or some such? It only makes sense if it comes after Dr. Anyways this is the forum for relaxing and getting to know your fellow posters. If you want to ask serious D&D based questions then you will likely get more help posting in one of the forums that specializes in the area you need help in. If you want to kick back and relax a lot then feel free to stick around the OTT.

welcome to the boards!

a few tips: mind your p's and q's, come roll a few dice, don't feed the trolls, point and laugh at the crazies and feel free to join in the conversations or start new ones.

point at laugh at the crazies? That implies they're nicely labeled for all to see...

they pretty much are.

how do you spot them?

step 1) look into any thread on OTT that doesn't have a serious OP
step 2) profit

or

Hello, resident furry here.

There's a long story behind why I'm a furry.

The reason he calls himself PigKnight is because he's a furry.

And don't ask what he did with those piglets..... you DON'T wanna know.

@ Pig: WTF is up with rosario+vampire? They have an 11 year old lesbian witch?

You got that far. I don't really like her.

And the first time I saw a dirty picture it was a wolf girl.

LOL! I'm imported from Eberron 3.5, i'm a troll cleric / bone knight with a Greater Fire and Acid resistant bone armor! i'm darn near invincible!

dispelled your armor's enchantments. :P

@ Pig: Eh, it does little for me. I prefer the semi-humourous events and the ass-kicking.

Rosario+Vampire: Where a crowning moment of heartwarming is the same as girl-on-girl action.

actually does anyone know a way to get the fire and acid subtype without crazy LA's?

because seriously, a troll cleric/bone knight is virtually immune to all damage other then acid or fire.

R+V is pantyshot T&A heaven.

otherwise, my regretful opinion is that the plot is pretty much your standard school harem but with a very supernatural twist.

Hmm...so I guess the mods think that new people announcing their presence belongs in off-topic, not community business. Oh well. I'll mostly be hanging out in the 4e forums, to busy for off-topic chatter. Sorry. Thanks for saying Hi though!

berserk.

if you don't mind some buckets of blood & gore, T&A (not in the R+V style but actual T&A in a mature sense), horrific demons and enough nightmare fuel to give lovecraft stuff to write about for a long time.

check it out.
