High school gamers: how'd you do on your AP tests?

Jul 09, 2008 22:58:45 I hit three total on my History back when I took it, but I destroyed the MC section. I got nailed in the DBQ's. I hate that section. There's way too much leeway in interpreting the different messages, and they often tend to be taken out of their context, which means they don't have enough to really build a thesis out of. Really, an absolutely horrible way to judge cognitive ability, though no better than a multiple choice test. OTOH, I hit a 32 on my ACT, so take your results with a grain of salt.

Funnily enough, everyone I talked to after the test said they BS'd their way through one of the Constructed Responses (myself included, despite being the person everyone expects to be super-duper at tests and stuff). We then proceeded to look it up and discovered we BS'd it right. :D

[EDIT]:
AP: Advanced Placement (Advanced-level pay-to-take tests that can be accepted for college credit or college entry requirements)
MC: Multiple Choice (A/B/C/D, ya know?)
DBQ: Document Based Question (Here)
ACT: Surprisingly enough, no longer "officially" an anagram. United States college entrance exam.
