... If you can put stuff in his food/drink, why not just poison him?

Because the Reich would then be taken over by someone more competent? Someone who wouldn't arm his men with flamethrowers against tanks?
Hitler was the Feuhrer, but he certainly wasn't the brains of the operation.

As stated in the article, estrogen has no scent or taste and the effects would happen more gradually, making it seem "natural".

Odds are they'd have surrendered if Hitler had been killed - depending upon what time we're talking about.  The beginning when blitzkrieg was annihilating everyone in it's path?  Disaster to kill him then.  The end when the Russians were in Germany?  Nothing changes because he purged all of those against him after the failed assassination.  Nobody left would protest.  They were devout.  Somewhere in between?  Maybe.  Maybe they would have quit sooner.  There certainly were those that wanted to.  But yeah, without specifying a time, speculation is a totally pointless endeavor.

As for the nuttiness, we also invented bat bombs.  They worked, too.  Er ... sorta.

Didn't Batman invent the bat-bomb?

Nope.  Some Allied dood.  Burnt down a few barns in the research area, too.

The Ruskis made a K-9 bomb. It had a lever design so that when the dog crawled under the tank the lever would pull the pin on the firing pin.

The reason it Failed was german tanks were diesel and during training the dogs were trained to crawl under the Russan tanks which were gas. Therefore in the field the dogs would crawl under their own tanks and blow up the trainers.

That and they'd get scared and sometimes come back.  And then the Germans decided to execute every dog they came across, too.
