| #1yellowdingoAug 31, 2009 9:41:12 | Disney is buying Marvel Comics for $4 billion...

| #2d11Aug 31, 2009 9:51:37 | My rage knows no bounds The Deadpool movie is now going to be indefintely "put on hold" while Disney censors the hell out of it. /wrists |
| #3IdolisAug 31, 2009 9:53:31 | What's going to happen to the Max imprint? My favorite comic is the Punisher under the Max imprint and I wouldn't say that that is very "kid friendly". Then again, Disney is more than likely only it for the movie proceeds looking for the "X-Men" or "Spider-Man" franchise. |

Probably not as much as Ryan Reynolds was ... ![]() Still looks like they're makin' that movie anyway. I see no reason that Disney can't have both kid and adult focused stuff. |
| #6The-Mage-KingAug 31, 2009 10:23:47 | Point. Say, did you see that Deadpool's a playable character in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2? |
| #7subsistcyberAug 31, 2009 10:41:49 | Maybe we'll get a Final Fantasy/Disney/Marvel RPG? |
| #8The-Mage-KingAug 31, 2009 10:43:07 | I recant. Deadpool versus Sephiroth would be win. |
| #9lofgrenAug 31, 2009 11:26:16 | Just because Disney's buying Marvel doesn't mean everything will be kid friendly. Disney has a lot of child companies with a wide range of audiences. Miramax, Dreamworks, ABC, and Touchstone all produce movies and shows with a range of ratings. |
