| #1lionlemurMar 25, 2010 13:31:05 | Actually, I'd rather not make one that stinks. Maybe one dripping with primoridal ooze and goo, instead. But I can't figure out where to access my signature on my profile. Clue anyone? |
| #2zombie_babiesMar 25, 2010 13:37:26 | At the top left of your screen, you will find a 'Preferences' link. Click it and you'll see the option to add a sig and some other optional stuff, too. |
| #3The_SilverswordMar 25, 2010 15:01:51 | ok so now how do I add links to my sig? or cool pics? |
| #4zombie_babiesMar 25, 2010 15:20:07 | Umm ... as far as I know, sigs still require html to add links and pics. The [ sblock ] feature does work in them now, though. |
| #5The-Mage-KingMar 25, 2010 15:22:01 | Links require use of html code- to put in a link, simply use, uh... < ahref= "where you want to link" > text you want to have it read < /a> with the a space between the 'a' and the 'href' and none between either '<' and what follows it. Pictures... are a bit harder. Just use the 'Embed in web page (HTML)' text, and it should do it. |
| #6EscherEnigmaMar 25, 2010 18:11:35 | you put in images using the {img /} tag. While you can include all sorts of fields, the important one is "src", where you specify the location of the image. So, for example, to put in my little self-portrait, you use: {img style="vertical-align: text-top;" src="http://th06.deviantart.net/fs71/150/f/2010/051/5/6/Self_Portrait___Failure_by_villain42.png" alt="Self-Portrait" height="100" /} Though you should replace { for < and } with >. Stupid forum weird formatting means I can't show it correctly as it does something funky with the html you give it which is killing my attempts to show it accurately.

| #8The-Mage-KingMar 26, 2010 10:02:10 | Fascinating... So if you delete the screwy html code from your post, it doesn't fix the title... I sense a new trick brewing... |
