36 different ways to do it. I'll admit, I haven't had to lace up shoes in a long time, but a still, this looks pretty cool

 I don't. I wear the 5-Finger thingies.

As do I, as you can see from my avatar.

Traditional method.

I'd love to get some velcro-secured shoes.  My shoes tend to loosen near the end of my workday, and it hurts my back and knees to tighten them up again.

I wear cowboy boots.  Laces are for chumps.

Work boots: 10 eyelet design. Skip the eyelet at the junction of foot to anckle then wrap the excess lacings around the anckle before tying.

Walking shoes normal I guess.  Maybe I should read the link but why do you ask?

Because the link has 36 different ways to lace your shoes
Seriously... read it... freaking insane.

Well jeez I feel so boring now. I use method number one, but the supernova looks kinda interesting.

Standard criss cross and tight! I have thin feet.

Standard criss cross. It's easy and I couldn't care less how my shoelaces look :/

I say the same about almost all clothing and then people disagree with me Undecided

That's because you're a communist-tree-hugging-hipie and thus automatically wrong.

I don't really lace shoes anymore. I prefer ones with velcro straps. I still have to lace my boots, unfortunately. Stupid Army won't go with anything more modern. Not even zippers on the sides. For those I skip the same eyelet Thunder_Dragonbane mentioned at the foot/ankle junction.

Ah, is that the reason?

Sounds like it's reverse psychology time

Display shoe lacing. I think that's because it's how I see them in the store.

Going to try something different since my boots are starting to wear out and won't stay tight.
