Am I the only one to realize that those eye lasers are better suited to this task than X-Ray vision? Is it the Superman writers or the article's author that's that stupid?

Dec 11, 2011 0:46:34 they addressed that in the comics, back when superman was rebooted after crisis on infinite earths or whatever, he used a piece of the ship that he came to earth in and shot his heat beams into it and redirected it to his face, made for a very close shave i guess, haha.

yeah they messed up in that article talking about the x-rays, its was definitely the heat vision, that and they also screwed up on the plot of superman III, he gave up his powers to be with Lois in part II, superman III was the one were he turned evil and had to fight hisself, duh! who ever fact checked that article needs to be shot!!

Oh, I know where to watch it online, but I'm not entirely sure about the legal status of this

In short: it's pre-Crisis Superman, complete with "up up and away!" and numerous shout outs to various Silver Age Superman covers, like the ones featured here. Needles to say, it's hilarious :D
