This is my (Draven Thral's) way of making a really good (and really unique as well) D&D character name, enjoy...

Are you tired of trying to think of a name for your amazing D&D character? Or maybe just a really good name for the character you are play in a game. Well, here is my way of making a name for you that is unique! (DO THESE STEPS IN ORDER! You will be using your first name in this process.)
1. First off if you have a Qu AT THE BEGINNING of your FIRST name switch it to a D but if it is IN YOUR NAME take it out and don't use it.
2. Switch the some letters
- If you are 0 to 23 years old take the 2nd letter of your name and switch it with the last one letter of your name.
- If you are 24 to 59 years old take the 1st letter of your name and make it a Z
- If you are 59 to 125 years old take the last letter of your name and make it a C
3. Add some letters
- If you have no animals living in your house add an E in between the 3rd and 4th letters of your name.
- If you have just one or more cats living in your house add a K at the end of your name
- If you have an assortment of animals living in your house add an E between in 1st and 2nd letters of your name.
4. Take out letters
- If the walls of the room you are in right now are white take out the last letter of your name
- If the walls of the room you are in right now have some sort of pattern or wallpaper on them take out the 2nd TO LAST letter of your name
- If the walls of the room you are in are blue take out the first letter of your name
- If the walls of the room you are in are any other color take out the letter in the middle of your name (if there are two numbers in the middle take both of them out)

That should give you a pretty alright name. However, this dosen't work for SOME people. It works for me though, my D&D name is Dennti. Not bad, eh? Play around with it and I would like to see what all you came up with so post it if you want to.

Nai. But step 3 doesn't perfectly apply to me, so step 4 was also weird.
I found a very reliable method for creating Star Wars names in middle school- spell your name backwards. I bet it would work well for D&D names as well. Examples;
Kirk Douglas ===> Salguod Krik
Mariah Carey ===> Yerac Hairam
Robert De Niro ===> Orined Trebor
Antonio Banderas ===> Sarednab Oinotna

Mwtethe... alien-looking, but not really fantasy-esque, nor particularly pronounceable.

Looks very interesting, if not entirely usable.

EDIT: Yes, TA, it is.

mark > mkak

i guess you could do the old standard of adding apostrophes and/or hyphens to make it sound "fantasy-esque".

M'kak sounds like a more guttural name so i guess it could be Orcish or maybe Ogrish.

Don't mess with him :D

Oh, and I think my name would be Zoe. That's a chick's name. I should probably use Zobeer.

I don't really like either one.

Yeah, doesn't really seem to work too well with long or short names.

Hrm... I'm now considering try to design a technique that *seems* like it would produce a different name every time, but instead always gives "Drizzt", no matter the input. Sort of like those magicians that have you pick one image on the TV screen, and by the end of the trick everyone is on the same one.

Zobeer sounds like chick's... beer. That generator doesn't like you

I'm not entirely satisfied with Xezi either.

something subtler than "step 9 - if you are in a room with things in it, replace all letters with d-r-i-z-z-t, in that order?"

That one might not even work. What if I'm outside stealing someone's wireless signal on my laptop?

I ended up with all the vowels on one end of the name, and all the consonants on the other. Failure.

Clearly impossible and totally useless (ex. why would I want to know how many animals you have in your house? Oh Yeah!! I remember!! I go to houses and slaughter animals for fun :D HA!)

I know you're kidding, but that still doesn't make any less afraid of the internet. I'm going to stick with my habitual avoidance of networking sites
