Hey there! The Play By Post Haven is a great place to start! :D

Check out the Haven Guide thread for an explanation, and the Games Currently Recruiting thread for the games ... well ... currently recruiting! :D

Just remember, there are two types of Player on online forums: Those that like play-by-play rules straight from the books; and those who prefer more open-ended, free-form non-manual rule games. Ask around to get a feel for each before you start, make sure you test the waters and have fun.

Actually, there are lots of people who do both.

There are, FYI, chaotic fiction games in the PbP Haven, too. ;)

Well, that was what I was trying to get across, without going into some huge, in depth speech about the merits and/or drawbacks of each style. Eh, I'm not so much a great shakes when it comes to explaining things... Clearly. :P

The OTT houses one of the biggest Chaotic Fiction PbPs.

Just a suggestion: try not to make it such a dichotomy, and it will probably come across better. ;)

Aw, but that's my favorite way! Duly noted though, I'll put some work into it.
