What does everyone like so much about the warlord?

It was my first 4e class and I had a ton of fun with that character. I was actually the party tank and I frequently saved party members and kept them safe by blocking-off bad guys and such. And I loved being able to help my friends hit the baddies, too. It was a fun intro to the 4e system so I think I'll always have a place in the ol' rib cage for 'em now.

Or a warlock/ranger or warlock/fighter who uses weapons with pact enchantments on them.
