MY REVENGE ON THOSE DAMN DRAGONLANCE ELVES IS COMPLETE! :D I tried hurting Dragonlance, but it had already been finished off. Also, I'm confused as to why Mystara and Birthright aren't on the list, as I would love to hurt those (either of them would be fine).

#54 jasonorlandohawk Dec 24, 2008 22:40:30	Overall, I rely almost exclusively on homebrew settings, so my opinion of the various settings is probably 'nil. Of my actual campaigns that weren't homebrew in nature, I have run one (short lived) FR campaign, one (short lived) Ravenloft campaign, and one (long lived) psuedo-Greyhawk campaign. I borrow pretty heavily from Ravenloft, Call of Cthulu, Greyhawk, and the Realms, and I dream someday of having a group capable of tackling Dark Sun, but as it stands, Homebrew is the campaign setting for me. I have zero experience w/ Points of Light, Spelljammer, or Planescape, so I really don't have much to say on those settings. Eberron had some cool ideas, but fell short in my opinion. Action Points seemed tacked on for no reason. The Dragonmarked just failed to impress me. Warforged were an interesting concept, but ultimately flat (in my eyes). The fact that the art (particularly the use of color) didn't sit well w/ me was the ultimate reason that I decided against picking up the system. If I have a favorite setting, I would say that it's the Realms... but that's a distant assertion at best. It is worth noting that the first 4e book to actually impress me was the FR Players Guide. For the first time in the history of the Realms, regional benefits were clear cut and easy to understand!!!

I lost too many characters in ravenloft interesting idea but vampires do not make a setting. Heal:Darksun what can I say I like canabalistic halflings, lack of metal weapons and psionics. Hurt:Ebaron. Im just amblivient about it. Heal: POL I like the new fluff.
