Apr 17, 2012 5:06:21 Settlers of Catan is a board game by Klaus Teuber where you collect and trade resources to build settlements, cities, and roads. It's a fun game, and has given rise to a dozen or so expansions and variations. Star Trek Catan is the latest. It's pretty much Settlers of Catan reskinned.

I like Star Trek, and I like Settlers, but I'm not sure combining them is a good thing.

*The only good thing about that game is that you can say 'I've got wood for your sheep' - but even that loses its charm rather quickly in the boring world of Catan.
