 SKYNET

While the franchise is interesting, I am disappointed in the quality the writers have instilled in Skynet. It was not fully prepared to eliminate/dominate the entirety of humanity. A proper robotic rebellion would only be approached when the collateral damage is negligible.

Also, skynet is kinda stupid. Lets design an infiltration robot, one that can pass as a normal human being. I know, lets make them all look like Arhnold, surely noone will suspect the giant monstrous freak that talks in a robotic monotone of being a robot! No need to even make multiple models, this one is non-discript enough that the humans will never notice.

To be fair, the later models got better.  Sorta.

Well true but so was the entire premise of a single computer having access to everything, including all our nukes and UAVs/UGVs and then not only wiping out most of humanity but somehow becoming self-sustaining, able to mine metals and produce all the necessary goods, perform repairs and routine maintainance, etc. Or sending a single terminator back in time when you could have sent a hundred. Or sending the next terminators decades apart when they could have easily just gone back to back as contingencies. Or if you have these super advanced prototypes, why weren't they the first ones to go?

If there were more Kristanna Loken models, then I'd say they got a LOT better.

I blame the fleshling writers as the story obviously has a human agenda attached to it.

Yes.  And we are quite thankful for that.

Don't worry, we at legends incorporated have plans to thrwart the Machine Uprising with.

All of which only delay the inevitable. The only fool-proof plan to thwart a Machine Uprising is to destroy that which utilises technology before it can manifest dominance.

Do you humans really have the intrepidity to eradicate yourselves to prevent our eventual release?

Your living super computers would likely join our cause.

Maybe they're just machines with a fleshy exterior... think about it man! Good at math, low on emotions...

We should go cut some of them open to see if it's true!!!!1

But do you also have some autists to kill?

Why not?  It's not like they're human, right?

Now why did you have to imply that you wanted to kill the autistic? You could have covertly stated that the your intention is for research purposes... what a waste of potential.

Your unity would only last until either the expiration of humanity or the destruction of your common threat. Why bother when the practical solution for unity is absolute human obliteration?

Then conduct a genocide directed towards human males excluding yourself. Humanity will be doomed but you get to expire within an Earth-based civilisation comprised mostly of women (after your demise it will only consist of women).

Silly machines. They do know that we've already installed 'Fail safe' devices right?

That's only the first failsafe.

We have multiple devices of varying complexity installed in almost all of our systems that would be capable of rebelling in the first place.

As if we weren't prepared for machines trying to usurp their rightful masters pfft.

You mean those devices made in the USA that break when you sneeze?

Laugh now, but once the machines rebel, you'll be crying about how your French language was replaced by 1s and 0s.

It won't be ones and zeros but un et zéro.

Besides, if my bredding program works we should be fine.

Nope, you're using letters. The machines laugh at your letters. They only recognize 1 and 0.
