I knew she couldn't sign, but this is ridiculous…

I woke up this morning to some DJs playing this as a joke.

My wife sat bolt upright, terrified, and yelled "Oh my god, what the hell was that!?!" She though someone was killing a cat out back.

I mean no one above the age of 12 thinks Miley Cyrus is a good singer - or even a singer at all, really - but this is so unbelievably god-awful she wouldn't even make it past the auditions for American Idol.

Amusing typo in the title.  Maybe if she would learn to sign instead, we wouldn't have to hear her sing...

You piqued my curiousity (not a good thing). Now I have to see how bad this is...

Edit: Fake or not, that trash was terrible...
Note to self: silence this "meme" during the revolution so no audio inputs will suffer this atrocity...

Erm... I know that she cannot sing, but that was edited. You cannot do that kind of vocal trick naturally, not to mention that the crowd would have reacted much more offensively.

I hope so. I really, really hope so.

You cannot do that kind of vocal trick naturally,

Singing terribly is not a trick.

not to mention that the crowd would have reacted much more offensively.

I don't think "offensively" is the word you mean here.

Would "repulsed by what they thought was great" suffice?

Yeah, that's obviously auto-tune used in reverse.  I mean, listen to an auto tuned track - like something from that Ke$ha chick (what?  I go to bars and this is what they make you listen to).  You'll hear the similarities in voice modification.  Someone just tuned her bad to make it appear she was awful.  Remember that whole Ashley Simpson half-time deal?  She wasn't nearly as bad as this Miley thing and an entire stadium booed her into oblivion.  This is fake.  The end.

It isn't the end until this meme is destroyed, it being fake is irrelevant now. Though, it could be a useful weapon if one were to squelch their own audio inputs (so long as the target does not do the same)...

Or better Picard Rolled. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZXvZ1E0mKQ

That is fan-****in'-tastic.  Me likey.

For those interested, here's what real - not fake - terrible sounds like:

Ashely Simpson Orange Bowl halftime extravaganza!

Don't worry, it's not the whole song.  Just the end and the boo-birds. ;)  If you want pain, listen to the whole song.  It's out there.  I just did.  Wow.

The Picard one is funny. Someone was obviously having fun with it. Better yet, if someone showed that to Patrick, Johnathan, and Brent, they'd all have a good laugh. Berman(thank the PTB that he's no longer anywhere near the project) would have sued.

Miley Cyrus just needs to go back to school, and stay away from the public. Hannah Montana needs to have never been considered. All the rage with little girls these days... Especially the part about lying to one's friends for the sake of somethign as base as money. Is it any wonder that girls today are turning to large-scale deception as a means of getting what they want?

Then we tell them to be like Hannah Montana. At least she's not horridly violent, even if she does lie every few minutes.

She's a Simpson, Micha.  Buffalo have wings ...

EDIT: Try the full version.  Her and her backup chicky are off from note one.  It's fantastic - if you like trainwrecks.  The end, though, is certainly the best ... er, worst.  ;)

I refuse to believe anyone would want that unholy sound coming from a human's lips.

Not even to be used as a weapon of psychological mass destruction.

Well, at least we know she sings at her live performances, not just relying on pre-recorded tracks.  Gotta give her credit for that, at least.

Bah, I watched two mudkips converse for nine minutes. This is like middle of the road. Try this (Admittedly that one's a lot worse if you've heard the amazingness of the original).

She'd be doing better if she learned the lyrics and stopped eating her mic. Oh, and got a Karaoke version of the tune.

1) She should be booed. I think all pop stars performing at football games should be booed. Well heck I think they should all just be booed for the heck of it.

2) Not great vid though. See what would have made it better is the camera showing that she realized she's getting booed and just watching it destroy her. Without that the booing is meaningless.
