I know a lot of people are afraid of clowns but I love them. Always have. I even made a good clown bard character to counter balance the negative portrayal clowns get. That's pretty much it. I just wanted to tell everyone how much I love clowns.

The reason that clowns have such bad reps is because of the ones that take chainsaws and tear up crowds. But they aren't as bad as mimes. God, DO NOT GET ME STARTED ON MIMES.

I've always thought that clowns were boring.

Play Twisted Metal.

The clown, Sweet Tooth, will change your mind.

Then you don't get to play a sick, psychotic clown that has organized a huge gladiator match (in vehicles) and kills people for his entertainment.

The only one he didn't kill was Mr. Grimm.

I think.

Meh. I've never cared about clowns one way or another (except to be driven insane when I heard the billionth person say "I hatezorz clownzz!1!11onelolol1fdjhdkj").

I alwways considered them rather depressing. My best friend is utterly terrified of them though.

One of my friends dated a woman who was a clown as a lifestyle choice, not just a job. Apparently she never really went without the clown makeup. Even, you know... in bed. That's pretty alarming and creepy in my books.

I'm creeped out by the silent ones. The ones that talk, not so much.

I've read or heard somewhere that comedians as a whole are a rather sad lot. They make people laugh to forget about their own depression.

I too have an overabundant affection for clowns. It is a not-so-secret dream of mine to become a clown someday. My parents wanted me to become a scientist. So that's what happens. Go figure.

I suppose more than the style of the circus clown I like the harlequin or the pierrot. I think people would be less scared of those if they had those in the circus. It's sad that there are so few good clowns left in the world...

That is all.

Nothing to fear from clowns? Clowns are boring? Lovable? John Wayne Gacy begs to differ! Well, you know, he would - if he hadn't been executed.

Remember the illustration of the Jester base class from Dragon Compendium? That looked like some crazy clown.

Anyway, I like clowns, at least somewhat. I haven't been to a circus for quite a while, though, so there's a bit of nostalgia there as well. When I think about clowns, I remember an old song about clowns always being sad, ordinary guys after the performance is over... until the next show.

Pssh. The number of psychotic clowns out there is a paltry few. Besides, Gacy wasn't even a clown. He was just a clown wannabe. There are far more psychotic doctors, lawyers, government workers...fast food employees...laundromat owners...you know, probably. I don't actually have the statistics of mass murderers anywhere. Kind of a depressing subject.

...I'm going to think about penguins on a tightrope now.

Holy excretory matter on a jet-powered pogo stick, now I'm thinking about playing a waiter/waitress gone postal. Yeeeeees, a frenzied berserker waitress can definitely be an interesting NPC for my game. The psycho clown is just too predictable, though. I would save it for the psycho Red Riding Hood. The wolves are coming... they are coming to get me...

Hey! Mr Gacy was a serial killer, not some goofball mass murderer. And he was too a clown! He even painted. Yeah. He painted ... clowns. A pretty cool band called Acid Bath used to use his paintings as CD art. Good stuff, that.

Mass murderer or serial killer, makes no real difference. A moron once is no different from a moron five times.

Like I said, a clown wannabe. Real clowns don't obsessively paint clowns, because they are clowns, savvy? They might paint the occasional clown, but only as a passing whimsy. Whimsy and obsession can't coexist.

Besides, he lacked the basic understanding of clown ideology.

Actually, it makes a huge difference. But that's neither here nor there. Gacy was a clown. Suck it. :P

Alright, I'm done bein' an ass. For now. :D

The only difference is that one moron perishes immediately and the other continues to be a moron until it catches up with him.

I refuse your offer. Gacy was not a clown.

But it seems the differences in our opinions are fundamentally irreconcilable, so I too will stop beating the horse.

It's much, much more than that. The psychological motivations alone are vastly different. So are the behaviors. So there.

I refuse your offer. Gacy was not a clown.

Yeah huh! He was too a clown! :P

For shame, boj0. How can I have an intelligent, utterly ridiculous debate about clowns with Zombie_Babies and these other fine civilians when you interject a statement with far too many exclamation marks?

Honestly, some people. How plebeian.

Clowns aren't even two star entertainment.

Unless they're like Sweet Tooth.

That's a badass serial killer clown that organizes vehicle gladiator matches for Insane Asylum inmates.

I would argue that the "killer clown" and the "clown" are two different species altogether, much like the drow and the elf. Stupid kids and their emo elves. You bleeders can go and play your twisted metal and hug your Drizzt body pillows.

I'm going to go hang with Charlie Chaplin.
