Jun 11, 2008 19:58:49 that danged cartoon with the Tiefling and the Gnome has my whole family in stitches. my daughters have been playing it over and over and over... yet I'm still not tired of it. Wizards should carpe diem and make a plush Gnome already. or at least a minifig, right? just make sure his minion Francis is also in the box.

not so bummed out about gnomes no longer being character races. i never had a gnome. but after reading a bunch of steampunk fic, i'm wondering if there still might be some utility if I were to have tinker gnomes in my campaign.

anyone know why eladrin got the bump to the PHB and not drow?

Jun 11, 2008 23:59:17 The thing with eladrin is that WotC took the two major elf stereotypes, the woodsy elf and the noble elf, and seperated them. These are both popular tropes, so they're both in the PHB as PC races. As to the gnome...They have ringtones, and they're even giving us a shirt with him on it. Rawr!
