I hear it's pretty good.

Jan 29, 2009 8:45:58 funny you should mention military bases,..there is an aircraft carrier museum and the ship from master and commander...the zoo is ok, the safari park is a bit better, coronado area is pretty cool too...there are a few kick @44 FLGS there are some cool casinos around viejas. lots of cool malls and there is always the boardwalk :D

If you do go to TJ, make sure you have a passport. It's not like the old days, they won't let you back in the country without one.

Jan 30, 2009 22:27:28 We went to the beaches in Coronado and La Jolla. Saw some sea lions on the sand. We've also been to some fine eating and looked around Old Town. I think tonight is Gas Lamp District.

I kind of indulged with the rental car. Its a convertable Mustang.

I saw the naval air base from the freeway on the way back from Coronado. I could barely make myself stop looking! It was hard to get a good look while I was driving. very impressive though.

We're wearing t-shirts and shorts in January. Its a bit of a change from Seattle. :D

Feb 10, 2009 17:25:48 I've been back awhile, but I got food poisoning pretty bad from fish tacos. I missed the penguins. Sorry. But, it is snowing where I live for some reason.
