For the past few months, I've been trying to find a Supernatural Slayer-type novel -think the "Shadow Chasers" D20modern campaign- (or even graphic novel) that isn't some author's strange fetish in written form. It seems like every time I check Barnes and Noble, every single slayer-type book I pick up has some kind of erotic subplot that I'd rather not have read. I'm especially tired of the "oh noez! The protagonist's new lover is a vampire/werewolf/whatever! Wut will he do nao!?" subplot. I wanted to know if anyone has a suggestion on a good slayer-type novel/graphic novel that's about the hunt, not sleeping with the prey. Thanks for reading, and hopefully replying.
