| #1squarecircleSep 13, 2008 9:54:29 | LOL, local ice cream truck guy just came into the liquor store I work at and bought some booze. Man he was a weird guy. Oh, I just wanted to tell you guys this true story to make people even more afraid of ice cream truck drivers. Ooo.... you know, come to think of it, I hope he doesn't plan on drinking while he's working and giving ice cream out to kiddies... that's just screwed up, dude. ----------Anyone listening to Johnny Dare, btw? Oh, good morning everyone. ![]() |
| #2squarecircleSep 13, 2008 10:03:56 | BTW this thread is for random goodness. Say good morning, describe how your day is going, talk about something completely off-topic. It's the off-topic thread of the off-topic forum. Go at it. |
| #3knights_discipleSep 13, 2008 10:45:55 | Good evening everyone. ...What? I work nights. This is my evening. You people are all just weird. |
| #4squarecircleSep 13, 2008 10:50:08 | I used to work nights. Now I work evenings, except for the occaisional 9-5 shift. Used to work mornings, 6-2. That was awesome. I had so much time on my hands AND I got my 40 hours a week in. I miss those days. That was when I was a janitor for Kohl's. |
| #5darkraven18599Sep 13, 2008 11:01:48 | Hope that ice cream truck guy bought butterscotch schnapps. That stuff is the bomb if you mix it with a drumstick cone! (Probably taking his truck down to the seedier part of town and selling "special" cones to the rummies.) Other than that, I just have to say that packing, moving, unpacking, and all the legal and associated crap that goes with that suck. |
| #6hanzo187Sep 13, 2008 11:20:46 | Ever saw Spawn: The Animated Series? One of the villains in that show drove an ice cream truck. |
| #71_ton_ghostSep 13, 2008 14:05:09 | Ever saw Spawn: The Animated Series? One of the villains in that show drove an ice cream truck. Oh, yeah, the "senator's son" or Violator's special project. Nasty. Still, I might understand him (the original driver) needing booze working around screaming kids all day. It's just there's "on" and "off" the clock. However, I take it many of you are familiar w/ Sony's Twisted Metal franchise. All I gotta' say is "Sweet Tooth"... |
| #8saintkeeleonSep 14, 2008 10:38:30 | I work graves at a 24 hour truck stop. Last night I had a group of drunken Mariachi singers in. They nuked some sandwiches and one of them didn't open his a bit first, so the package ballooned up. They either hadn't seen anything like that before, or they were too drunk to remember having seen it. Either way, they all hauled out their cell phones and took pictures of in sitting there in the microwave. I found out that I remember more Spanish than I thought I did. It was a riot. |
| #9BloodsoulSep 14, 2008 18:31:40 | Thinking about ice cream truck guys makes me want to watch The Adventures of Pete & Pete again. I miss that show. |

| #11stompie5Sep 15, 2008 12:00:48 | Man he was a weird guy. What made the ice cream truck driver so wierd? |
| #12draconsnighthawkSep 15, 2008 12:03:56 | Ice Cream truck guys are strange because of this guy. http://blog.oregonlive.com/breakingnews/2008/07/man_pleads_guilty_to_aggravate.html Man that whole story was messed up. At least he won't fight it any more because he got chicken. |
