I don't have a recipient's field any more and it won't let me send messages without a recipient. Even if I reply. Everything above the text tools field is blank space.

Meh.

To PM yourself, begin by replying to a pm from someone else, but then delete their user ID from the adress bar and replace it with your own. (This is the number you see when you quote yourself in the forums.)

Problem is, no matter how many times you open it, or hit 'mark as read' you will always have that white envelope saying you have a message. To resolve this problem, respond to your first message, then delete the first message, the second message, and the copy of the first message from your 'sent' folder.

So I thought letting my work computer do it's maintenance cycle and of course power-cycle would correct the issue. I was incorrect. grrrrrrr.

That's what I was trying. :/

It worked!

I had to shift-tab back to an unnamed, unspecified blank space and type in an invisible subject...

Nevermind, I had admin rights. Switching to firefox.
