Probably, maybe not unique, but I like to think my endurance is special, I am in pretty good physical shape. Going to do the half marathon this year, hoping for the marathon next year. :D |
| #3midnitepoisonFeb 28, 2009 19:56:32 | wow, thats pretty intense! good luck! whats ur mile time? mines 8:10, and thats only because im preparing to join the Marines |
| #4oxybeFeb 28, 2009 20:37:34 | My likeness has been compared to that of a bugbear or dwarf. mostly dwarf cause of the long thick hair, long thick goatee, stocky build & funny waddle/stomp i get when i stop paying attention to my walking. i also have a weird accent. for those that have never really been in my neck of Canada, most of the french folks here are Acadians or of Acadian decent, myself included being 100% pure french acadian. when i'm talking english i have a very distinct twang to my voice that seems to stick out. |
| #5minja_dupFeb 28, 2009 20:38:04 | wow, thats pretty intense! good luck! whats ur mile time? mines 8:10, and thats only because im preparing to join the Marines Thanks. Depends on the distance I intend to run. My typical training pace is about 9:00, but that always changes on race day. Last year I ran two 5Ks. The first one I came in just over 24:00 minutes, and the second one just under 24:00 minutes; the second one was a slightly easier course, but I was also feeling under the weather. My goal for the year is to do a 5K in 21:00 flat. I think I will be able to do that on the second course, minus the flu I had last year. ![]() My goal for my first half marathon this year is 2 hours, but I will be happy to finish. |
| #6crossroads_wandererFeb 28, 2009 21:01:05 | I have auburn hair that goes down to my butt. |
| #7braveboudicaFeb 28, 2009 21:03:01 | For born in features I'd have to say my red hair and glorious green eyes! (And my modesty! :P) For add-ons my oddest features are the fact that I have a great scar across the back of my head that parts my hair until it's long enough to reach my shoulders and my one and a half fingers gone. (That's why I don't type too much even though I hang out quite a bit- I'm too lazy to re-learn typing) And no, they didn't all happen at the same time. I don't always pay much attention to my surroundings unfortunately. My gravestone will say something like, "Huh, never saw that coming." |
| #8rizen_isstaria_dupFeb 28, 2009 22:54:17 | I have green eyes with black freckles in them. They stand out in the light. I'm also rather small, but I can eat alot.. its weird. I've been told that I can be overly opimistic in an annoy way. Haha oh well I'm proud of it ;) . |
| #9MechaliburFeb 28, 2009 22:59:13 | I have eyes that keep changing from blue to green. I have NO IDEA how I got them, as no one in my family has them except my brother (so it must be hereditary... but from where?) Oh, and I can't snap my fingers. Go figure. |
| #10pigknightMar 01, 2009 0:02:22 | I'm 100% Mexican but look 100% white. |
| #11Mad_JackMar 01, 2009 0:31:34 | Well, I'm built like a 5'11'' dwarf... Seriously. I've got an 18 inch neck, a 52 inch chest, and forearms like Popeye, lol. I've got the structural integrity of a Terminator robot. My eyes usually appear either grey, green, or brown depending on the light, but they're actually really funky-looking. They're ice blue with a thin grey ring around the outside, and a yellow sun-burst sort of thing around the iris, with brown and black striations radiating out from that. And there's also some random black and gold dots as well. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to take a decent picture of your own eye, but they look something like this... Show Sort of looks like a sunflower, doesn't it? ![]() |
| #12dirtyfrankMar 01, 2009 15:51:03 | I have a scar on my face that starts just under the left side of my left eye and goes down my face for about an inch. My eyes will sometimes change colors a bit. Usually from a yellow like green to a bluish green. Sometimes it will be green on the inside or outside and yellowish in the other area. Right now they are a bluish green color on the outside and a yellowish on the inside. |
| #13bob_loblawMar 01, 2009 15:59:11 | I have eyes that keep changing from blue to green. I have NO IDEA how I got them, as no one in my family has them except my brother (so it must be hereditary... but from where?) The milkman? |
| #14baneofelvesMar 01, 2009 16:14:14 | My eyes constantly change color. Right now, my eyes are green, but a few days ago they were grey. |
| #15crossroads_wandererMar 01, 2009 16:34:58 | My hair changes colors. Sometimes it is a vibrant red, other times it is a dull brown. Sometimes it has hints of blonde. It changes based on lighting and the chemicals in the shampoo I use. So I just call it auburn because it is easier. My eyes don't change color, per se, but they are brown with some green in them that is hard to spot under most lighting. |
| #16fenrir7139Mar 01, 2009 16:56:37 | You know that bump of bone on your ankle? Whatever it's called, I can make mine pop in and out. |
| #17pigknightMar 01, 2009 19:11:30 | 10 inches. All I'm gonna say. |
| #18pyromancer999Mar 01, 2009 19:25:10 | My hair changes between different amounts of brown and blonde. Also, my hairdo changes from day to day. It's awesome |
| #19dirtyfrankMar 01, 2009 22:34:00 | 10 inches. Your hair? |
| #20freedeathMar 02, 2009 8:28:43 | I have three of something I'm only supposed to have two of. |
| #21dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 8:41:38 | I have three of something I'm only supposed to have two of. Eyes? Ears? Arms? ![]() |
| #22freedeathMar 02, 2009 8:48:03 | All I will say is that I could live normally with only one of them. Yes, I'm being deliberately cryptic. |
| #23braveboudicaMar 02, 2009 8:50:57 | I have three of something I'm only supposed to have two of. NOSES! |
| #24crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 9:02:11 | All I will say is that I could live normally with only one of them. Kidney? |
| #25dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 9:04:19 | All I will say is that I could live normally with only one of them. Lungs! No, you said live normally. Kidneys?!?! |
| #26oxybeMar 02, 2009 9:09:38 | appendices? |
| #27crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 9:11:22 | Um, people are born with one appendix. Though there are two tonsils, but tonsils are usually considered vestigial, so it is possible to live normally with none. |
| #28dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 9:15:09 | EGOS! Do people usually have more than one ego? ![]() |
| #29zombie_babiesMar 02, 2009 9:19:12 | I have auburn hair that goes down to my butt. I once knew a gal with the same. That means I know who you are, right? If I had to pick an intersting feature, it would probably be my eyes. They're very blue. People seem to like 'em. So that's it, I guess. |
| #30rakeMar 02, 2009 9:28:52 | Raven-black hair, dark eyes, pale skin. I coulda been an emo! Darn. : P I'm double-jointed. On either hand, I can bend my finger back to my wrist. I can also transform my hands into twisted old-crone claws by bending the last joints on each finger, and 'popping' the base joints of my thumbs in. The ladies love that, let me tell you. Never fails to impress. Also: I demand that Crossroads posts pictures. Super-long hair = coolest thing ever. |
| #31dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 9:30:15 | She has her pics up on the "What race/class are you" thread in the D&D general forum. My ego is an interesting feature. |
| #32rakeMar 02, 2009 9:34:40 | Holy geez, that is long. And bright. Crossroads: have you pretty much been growing your hair out your whole life? If I had my way, I'd have an ass-long stage magician's ponytail (dudes with ponytails are cool and you know it), but I can't get my hair past my shoulders. Should I be trimming the ends more often or something? I've been told that's supposed to help. |
| #33roxlimnMar 02, 2009 9:38:36 | One of my ears is flat up against my head. The other sticks out closer to perpendicular. Yep - I have noticeably assymetical ears. |
| #34dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 9:39:46 | One of my ears is flat up against my head. The other sticks out closer to perpendicular. Yep - I have noticeably assymetical ears. That's cool that you have ears like Stephen Colbert. |
| #35crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 9:48:22 | Holy geez, that is long. And bright. Yeah, I've trimmed my hair several times, but it was long even before I started doing that. I really haven't trimmed my hair enough, and so the ends are uneven. Trimming will help some people, but some other people just can't get it to grow past a certain point. |
| #36zombie_babiesMar 02, 2009 9:50:18 | C_W, just saw your pics. You're not the gal I thought I knew. Amazing that more than one girl in this world would have her hair that long, innit? ;) Plus, you'd know if I knew you. You just would. |
| #37rakeMar 02, 2009 9:51:03 | Trimming will help some people, but some other people just can't get it to grow past a certain point. Damn it, I think that's me. :raincloud *shakes fist at the gods* |
| #38dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 9:52:39 | *shakes fist at the gods* Which pantheon? |
| #39roxlimnMar 02, 2009 10:00:44 | dirtyfrank: Nah. That would be my sis. She's got one normal ear and one elf ear. I got one normal ear and one Ferengi ear. |
| #40rakeMar 02, 2009 10:01:36 | Which pantheon? I dunno. Who's in charge of this stuff? I don't want to p*ss all the hair gods off; the hair I've got is cool. Jet black, shiny, full-bodied, etc. Travolta-level length and awesomeness-magnitude. I'd post pictures if I could make it work (it'd be a sin to hide it from the world, really), but I even set up a photobucket account one time for exactly that purpose and the links didn't work in my 'Preview Post' when I tried to include them here. |
| #41dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 10:05:30 | I'd post pictures if I could make it work (it'd be a sin to hide it from the world, really), but I even set up a photobucket account one time for exactly that purpose and the links didn't work in my 'Preview Post' when I tried to include them here. Then did you do something wrong with the link/photo? |
| #42rakeMar 02, 2009 10:10:51 | Then did you do something wrong with the link/photo? I don't think so. Can't screw up a copy/paste too bad. If I think of it, I'll try again when I get home. |
| #43crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 10:14:07 | You find the link that you want to post by going to the properties of the picture. The problem I kept having was that one of the lines of the link was hidden and I had to highlight downward to reveal it. |
| #44Mad_JackMar 02, 2009 22:04:54 | My hair changes colors. Sometimes it is a vibrant red, other times it is a dull brown. Sometimes it has hints of blonde. My beard is sort of like that - except every piece of hair is a different color on a different day... Patches of my beard go from black through red, blonde, all the way to white, and except for the patch that always grows fire-engine red (which is the only way you can really tell I have a large birthmark on my right cheekbone, it's almost invisible if I'm clean-shaven) I never know just what colors will be where. If I stop shaving for about two or three weeks, it looks like I'm eating a calico cat, lol. |
| #45crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 22:47:28 | If I stop shaving for about two or three weeks, it looks like I'm eating a calico cat, lol. ![]() That totally made my day. |
| #46IdolisMar 03, 2009 12:38:19 | Do Tattoos count? If they do, I have a buffalo skull wearing a native american headdress that stretches the length of my right bicep. Also, my blue eyes turn green when I'm horny. (Not trying to be sexual there just stating a fact.) |
| #47MusicOfCreationMar 06, 2009 22:10:28 | I have two webbed toes on each foot. |
| #48dirtyfrankMar 06, 2009 22:14:18 | I have two webbed toes on each foot. So you're a good swimmer? :P |
| #49MusicOfCreationMar 06, 2009 22:16:34 | So you're a good swimmer? :P Thats the first thing that everybody asks and ironically I am actually quite poor at swimming. I've nearly drowned numerous times in the lake I lived across the street from when I was younger and as a result I didn't learn how to swim until 3 years ago. |

I had a feeling you'd say something like that. Well, I was actually expecting to hear something like "I can't swim." |
| #51MusicOfCreationMar 06, 2009 22:29:22 | I had a feeling you'd say something like that. Well, I was actually expecting to hear something like "I can't swim." That was my standard response back when I was in school. :D |
