One of those 'why didn't I think of that' moments, maybe.  ;)

But it's also an anti-spill cushion.  That's ... something, no?

No way dude. That would probably give theaters a reason to double the price of their over-priced drinks.

Heh, that's a pretty cool little invention they have there. I can imagine beer drinkers would love it Tongue out

It doesn't solve the problem of the foam on top. That foam is just wasted beer.

Actually, the head on the beer is a source of intense aromatics and is considered, in some circles, to be essential to fully enjoy the beer. Obviously, cultural and regional differences mean this isn't true of everyone everywhere.

Protip: If you want less of a head, pour your beer into a damp glass, or ask the bartender to do it if you're out somewhere. Dry glasses create better heads.

Protip2: If you are served a beer with a head on it that quickly dissapears, you should consider the cleanlyness of the glass, as a dirty glass will completely ruin head retention.

Yes, I know. And in some culture people consider excision ok and guns as a means to boost self-estime. Barbarians, all of them.

Or just tilt the glass, like I do.

What is it with you and the constant need to bring up guns?  Do you get some sense of self esteem out of it?  Does it make you feel like a grown woman to constantly rag about guns?  And why are you so damned afraid of them?

I think the article mentioned 10c for regular cups vs 45c for the magnetic cups, with most of the extra money being sponsored by companies that put their logo on the magnets.

I kind of skimmed the article and missed that part.  Thanks!

Your inabaility to appreciate beer properly does not warrant mocking those who do.

That is only a partial solution for one problem. Even when poured at an angle there should still be a head. Failure to produce one means the beer was no poured right.

For a perfect pour the head should just about fill the rest of the glass (assuming a glass properly sized for the volume of beer). If the head spills out it is too much, if it doesn't fill the glass it is too little.

I think you need British beer. From what I've heard, if you order a pint of beer, you get a glass that's filled to the brim, and it's all beer, no foam.

Then again I've never been to Britain and I wouldn't order beer if I'd ever be there, so it might not be true Tongue out
