I'm not sure anyone could name where I got my avatar from. Maybe you could, but it's a little obscure. I picked it up because the character actually looks a little like me (in that he has long hair in a ponytail and a goatee).

I think some of it has to do more with certain avatars being common enough that there's a significantly greater chance that they'll be used by two people who disagree... Although I'd probably find myself more likely to argue with someone who was using the same avatar as goldomark, since I don't like him, lol. Guilt by mental association? lol.

Personally, though, I'll most definitely disagree with anybody who showed up on a forum with my avatar, since it's a photo that I took myself.

Actually, it's just a not-quite-life-sized cast resin skull that my brother gave me for my birthday one year, wearing my favorite hat. It's one of the coolest things I own, lol.

And is it just me or are Jace and the Avenger the most popular avatars around here? I figured hoods are in, but really?
And I wonder who will be (or was) the first to have a manga Jace avatar ;P

Well, for me, it's mostly just that specific picture, as it's my preferred avatar pic on any site that gives me an option. I really wouldn't mind so much if somebody used one of my other photographs as long as they weren't claiming it as their own work. If it's something I've posted on the internet, I consider it public property just as long as nobdy tries to claim it as their own or profit from it.

I'm not sure If I would be angry or amused if I found someone else using my avatar. For the life of me, I cannot fathom someone else wanting to use my avatar as their own for any reason other than impersonating me with the probabal goal of harassing me. I'm just not sure if I would find it more annoying or more amusing (that they went to the effort of bothering).

My Avatar is a picture of a stuffed frog I purchased at the Rain Forest Cafe that was then turned into a CS spray and later added overtop some random photo of fire I yoinked off the internet when someone said that the avatar (on a white background) was not toasted enough.

To be honest, I haven't watched TGS in years. It was funny to me back in highschool, but maybe my tastes have matured. Although, arguably, not being funny is the entire point. It started when some fangirl emailed Strongbad, resident jerkass of Homestarrunner.com and asked him to make a comic with her and all her friends in it. So, predictably, he made a crappy short where her and all her friends die in increasingly bizarre ways.

Presumably the fandom found this amusing and asked the creators to make more? I really don't know how it managed to spawn a whole series.

(P.S. If you didn't like it how come you kept watching it? Not everything I've enjoyed can be universally awesome. Most things. But not everything.)

Well, somebody's a drama queen. A youtube search for any word or phrase in the english language, including "Teen Girl Squad" would yield dozens of videos that are far, far worse. TGS is one idiot rear-ending another, at worst. If you want a trainwreck, I can find you a trainwreck.
