| #2jetshieldJul 13, 2013 10:15:21 | Grant's poor fortune now allows "Showtime" a chance to fight in his hometown in a bid for the UFC lightweight title. Isn't that...convenient. |
| #3homicidal_squirrelJul 13, 2013 11:51:18 | And awesome. Don't forget awesome. |
| #4zombie_babiesJul 15, 2013 8:57:54 | Hells yes! Peeps gotta quit duckin' Showtime at some point. dood is legit. I hope he Showtime kicks Bendo again. That was one of the awesomest moments in fighting evah. Oh, I'm also pumped about Korean Zombie vs Aldo. That's gonna be epic. EDIT: Showtime!! |
| #5homicidal_squirrelJul 15, 2013 9:07:58 | Yes, that was pure awesomeness. This fight should be just as awesome as their first fight. ![]() |
| #6zombie_babiesJul 15, 2013 9:55:50 | Yuyup. Neither guy disappoints for the most part and if you're the type of fighter who don't fight Pettis is gonna make a highlight reel outta yo ass. ![]() So who you got? Showtime or Bendo? Zombie or Aldo? |
| #7homicidal_squirrelJul 15, 2013 13:30:48 | I'm thinking Showtime beats Henderson, and Aldo beats Zombie. Zombie is good, but I don't think he has what it takes to beat Aldo. Then again, Zomibie could surprise everyone. |
| #8LMTRKJul 15, 2013 13:51:15 | I thought this was a thread about Sting and/or Eric Young. I am dissapointed. www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAbs97kMAyA&feat... ~ Tim |
| #9zombie_babiesJul 15, 2013 14:19:07 | I'm thinking Showtime beats Henderson, and Aldo beats Zombie. Zombie is good, but I don't think he has what it takes to beat Aldo. Then again, Zomibie could surprise everyone. Yeah, that's what I'm feelin'. A lot of doods seem to think Zombie isn't seasoned enough to handle Aldo. Thing is, I didn't think he was seasoned enough to do this well in the UFC. The dood makes his bones provin' people wrong, yanno? That said, Aldo is a different sort of beast. I thought this was a thread about Sting and/or Eric Young. I am dissapointed. Not as disappointed as we are in you, I can assure you. ![]() |
| #10draco1119Jul 15, 2013 15:11:50 | Well, be disappointed in me, too; I like TNA. |
| #11zombie_babiesJul 15, 2013 15:37:06 | We can't possibly be more disappointed in you. |

| #13homicidal_squirrelJul 15, 2013 16:41:29 | I'm thinking Showtime beats Henderson, and Aldo beats Zombie. Zombie is good, but I don't think he has what it takes to beat Aldo. Then again, Zomibie could surprise everyone. The problem with Zombie is that he isn't always consistent. He tends to surprise people, but sometimes it doesn't turn out well for him. I mean, the guy is known for being able to take damage, and that is the one thing you don't want to take from Aldo. Aldo is a strong guy and bigger than most guys in his division. If he is anything like the other top guys, he probably cuts 15 to 20 pounds for the weigh-ins then gains it back. so while he is fighting at 145, Aldo probably comes in around 160 to 165. He is strong, and he is quick. I don't think he is as amazing as everyone makes him out to be, but I admit the guy is good. He knows his limitations and strengths. He uses his size advantage well. He throws a lot of hard kicks, which a lot of people don't do. He has a good fight plan going in. The Korean Zombie can take damage, but how much can he take? And is he good enough to do what no one else in the featherweight division has been able to do? |
| #14zombie_babiesJul 16, 2013 7:50:48 | Yep, those are the questions and all things seem to point to Zombie coming out the loser. But they fight the fights for a reason. ![]() |
| #15homicidal_squirrelJul 16, 2013 22:47:20 | Yep, those are the questions and all things seem to point to Zombie coming out the loser. But they fight the fights for a reason. As Chris Weidman has proven. |
| #16zombie_babiesJul 17, 2013 7:55:05 | Yupyup. Though to be fair quite a few people had him pegged to win. Went from like a 10-1 dog to a 2-1 dog by the start. |
